I won a scholarship! $1000 dollar one at that...

I'm pretty happy right now, I must say.... and I think it's about time that I celebrate.... since I don't have school tomorrow.... well, I'll celebrate evertually.... but yeah.... yay for scholarships!!!! eventhough tuition and books are all paid for...

How many do you have? and how did you go about getting them?

Im considering going to college within the next 2 years and my fmaily isnt what you would call loaded.

I got 3 (sorta). I got one from our stupid lottery ($3,000). That one is easy to get. I got another one from the school ($8,500) for getting higher than a 3.5 (I had a 3.9) and over a 30 on the ACT (I had a 31). The last was a special one from the lottery ($1,000) again for the high GPA and ACT.

very nice.... mine was for good grades and financial need...

well, I'm a married student.... of course I'm in financial need...

and it was based more on need than on marks.... because I got one, and my wife didn't get it, and she applied too.... and her marks are way better than mine were
