At wigglytuff’s guild, Chatot was looking at a monitor with a map, as storm icons kept popping up on the map. In frustration, Chatot squawked “What is up with these storms?!” he shouted. Silently, a blue frog walked up to chatot and said, with a smirk in a monotone voice. “What are you talking about? The only storm I see is right there.” He said, as he pointed to chatot, before walking off.
Chatot didn’t catch Croagunk’s joke until he left. “Huh?! CROAGUNK! WHY YOU!” Chatot squawked angrily.
Croagunk is one of the members of Wigglytuff’s guild and a good friend to some of the Pokemon Heroes and Shadow Warriors. He’s often making snide jokes about the other members, but those jokes are hard to catch. He sometimes trains with the Shadow Warriors to make them stronger. Despite being an introvert, this guy is a great story teller.
Chatot glared at croagunk, then he looked at another pokemon, a pink pokemon named Wigglytuff, who appeared to be giving a blank stare. “What do you think we should do, Sir?” Chatot asked Wigglytuff. As a response, Wigglytuff snored. It was clearly obvious that Wigglytuff was asleep, and creepily enough he slept with his eyes open. Chatot nodded. “That’s a good plan.”

At the pokemon heroes base, Omega and was in the hall, heading to another room, when Rocky stopped her. “Oh, Omega! Today’s mission wasn’t bad, wasn’t it… you could almost say-“
Omega interrupted, almost ignoring his words. “Rocky… you weren’t fit to be a team leader!” Omega said, as she turned around to look the Midnight Lycanroc in the eyes. She shifted her weight so there wasn’t a lot of pressure on her bad leg. “What you did today almost jeopardized the mission!” the red riolu scolded.
“But… I saved your life!” Rocky said, trying to get away from a scolding, not literally though. Omega shook her head. “Yeah… ‘Saved my life’ after you nearly killed me!” Omega sighed as she shook her head. “Look, if you want to be a ‘Team Leader’ of something, go be the Team Leader of washing the plane.” Omega said, as she walked into the room, as it automatically opened the doors.
“Wait! Omega!” Rocky said, trying to stop the red riolu, but it was too late. Rocky sighed as his ears and tail went down and he walked off.
Omega looked around the room, as she was in the sick bay. She walked over to one of the cabinets and pulled out some medical supplies, then she sat on a stool, and draped her leg over her lap once again.
“You should really tell someone about that wound.” A voice spooked her.
“Huh?!” Omega said, as she was looking around the room. “Oh! You! Don’t surprise me like that!” Omega said, as she located the owner of the voice. A ghost-like figure of a Lucario sat on the bed-like table, watching over Omega with worried eyes.
“I’m sorry for surprising you like this, but that wound looks serious.” The ghost said. Omega shook her head no. “No, Soul. I’m fine. It’s just a scratch. Nothing more.” Omega said.
Soul, as his name might imply, is a ghost. His previous life is a mystery to a lot of pokemon. Omega is one of the few who knows Soul’s past well. He was once a warrior who hated to fight. He didn’t like to see anyone get hurt over any conflict, and he’s more of a peaceful warrior. He tends to hang around the pokemon heroes, watching them save lives and help the weak.
Soul, the ghost, released a deep sigh, as he got off the table and walked towards Omega, to examine her wound. “I rather you not die on this mission.” Soul said. Omega shook her head no as she got up. “Soul, I’m fine.” She said, as she walked to the door and it automatically opened. She looked up at Soul, her sapphire blue eyes shimmered with sadness “…though… if I suddenly feel faint… I’ll tell dad…” She then walked out of the room.

At the docking bay, Rocky was writing in the dust, on the plane. “’Rocky Rules’” Rocky said to himself, as he looked at what he wrote. He sighed as he went to wash the plane when he was interrupted. “Richmond? What’s wrong?” Asche asked as she was followed by a humanoid Eevee named Cinnamon. Rocky looked at Asche as he sighed. “Hey, Asche, Cinnamon… It’s Omega…” Rocky said.
Before Rocky could continue, Cinnamon gasped “Oh no! What’s wrong with her?!”
“Nothing, Cinnamon. It’s just…she yelled at me after I saved her life.” Rocky said, as he sighed. “And then she ordered me to clean the jet.”
Cinnamon smiled, as she tried to cheer Rocky up. “Maybe she’s just overwhelmed! Give her some time and then talk to her!”
“It’s not that, Cinnamon.” Wendy said, as she walked over to the group. “Rocky deviated from the plan without agreement of the team leader.” Wendy explained. When she mentioned this, Rocky sighed. Asche gasped as her eyes widened. “That could explain the mood!” Asche said. The room got silent, except for a metallic snoring from a Metagross, until Asche spoke up, with a smile and a small nod. “Yes, that might work.” The arcinine said, her eyes sparkled.
“What is it, mom-I mean Asche!” Cinnamon said, having her foot in her mouth for a moment. Asche laughed as she smiled. “It’s alright, Cinnamon. Rocky, you should apologize to Omega.”
Wendy nodded, as she agreed with Asche. “That’s a great idea. An apology would go a long way!” Wendy said. Rocky smiled “Thanks you three.”
Asche looked at Rocky as she walked over to the plane. “Now you just skedaddle over to Omega and apologize. I’ll clean the plane for you.” She said. Rocky nodded and ran off.

Omega, who was now wearing grey pants to hide her wound, limped into the empty room that was Monitor Control, Soul followed her in. Omega then sat in a chair, by one of the monitors, as she looked towards Soul. “Can you feel anything off with today, Soul?”
The ghostly Lucario nodded as he walked up to the red riolu “I feel anger from the sky. Terrible lightning storms and-” Soul stopped, as he and Omega looked towards the door. Rocky walked into the room, a soccer ball in front of him. He lightly kicked the ball towards Omega, as it jumped off the ground and hit her right on the leg, were her wound was. Omega tried so hard to hide her feeling of pain. While Rocky didn’t notice Omega’s pained expression, he chuckled, walking up to her. “I guess I don’t my own strength.” Rocky said. Omega got up and lightly kicked the ball towards Rocky. “I guess not.” She said, her voice was very monotone.
Rocky sighed as he shook his head, as he kicked the ball back to Omega. “Look, Omega… I’m sorry for what happened today… I should have listen to you.” Omega interrupted, she kicked the ball back towards to Rocky. “But you didn’t! You thought of yourself instead of listening to the leader! That’s how mistakes are made and that’s how people get hurt!” Omega barked. She then looked over at Soul, who shook his head no. He didn’t want to be a part of this argument.
Rocky scoffed “I can’t believe you, Omega! I apologize and you still give me a lecture! I saved your life!”
“Yeah, and like I said before, you ‘Saved my life’ after you put it at risk!” the two argued while kicking the soccer ball towards each other.
Outside the doors of the room, the others were listening in onto the conversation. Jack looked towards the group, his eyes widened. “Woo-doggy! Omega is madder than a Yamask without its mask.”
Just then, the team were startled by an alarm, followed by Chatot’s voice. “Hey?! Is this thing working?! We have an EMERGANCY!”
The others ran into the room, as Omega looked at the monitor, as she sat down in a chair. “What’s wrong Chatot?”
“We got a report from Al Pine and Bob Sled that thunderstorms are raging through the Swiss Alps, and they’ll need back up. HURRY!” Chatot shouted.
Omega sighed as she looked towards Rocky. “Rocky… This is your call…” Omega said, with a sigh. Rocky was surprised by Omega’s sudden request. “Huh? Alright!” Rocky shouted as he was about to run off, when Soul stopped him. “Wait, Richmond… Don’t forget, Al and Bob are the leaders of your mission… and don’t make too many mistakes on this mission.” Soul said.
Rocky nodded. “Alright, Soul… I won’t” Rocky said, with a nod, before leaving the room. Omega got up to look at the others, but was dizzy all of the sudden, she almost fell forward when she was caught by Jake and Wendy.
“Omega? Is everything alright?” Wendy asked, concerned for the red riolu. Omega nodded as she came to her senses “Huh? What happened?” She said, confused. Jake shook his head. “You probably got up too fast.” Omega nodded. “Probably.” She smiled.

At the Swiss Alps, Two weaviles were looking over the Swiss Alps, watching various snowboarders doing various tricks as they cut up the snow. One of the weaviles, a dark orange weavile with his red crown was royal dark blue, while the other weavile was just a regular weavile, though his crown was an icy blue. Next to them was a blue growlithe, his fur was different shades of blue. The two weaviles and growlithe shifted their attention to ski chalet at the bottom of the snowy mountain. “Hey guys!” Rocky said, as he raced through the snow as a dusk Lycanroc. The weaviles turned to rocky as they smiled. “Hey rocky!” one weavile said.
“How’s it going, eh?” another one asked.
Rocky turned to his Midnight form, as he replied to the weaviles “Hey guys. Unfortunately, we’re predicting a lot of thunderstorms.” Rocky said. Just then, a bolt of lightning hit the white powdery mountain, causing an avalanche.
“WOAH!” Rocky said, as the two weaviles and growlithe ran to their Lycanroc companion to protect each other from the harsh attack of the snow.
Once the avalanche ended, the team got up and saw the entire slope covered in snow. Rocky’s eyes widened as he saw the snow-covered mountain. “This is a whole lot of trouble.” Rocky said, shaking his head in disbelief. Soon the team’s attention was shifted to the blue growlithe who was barking at a large lump of snow, where a ski chalet once stood. The royal blue crowned weavile took at his team. “Looks like Windchill found trouble. Bob, you, Rocky, and Windchill go help the skiers who might have gotten caught up in the avalanche. I’m going to go help those who were in that Chalet.” Al Pine, the weavile with the blue crown, said. Bob Sled and Rocky both nodded, as Windchill, the growlithe, ran to the two.
“Alright! Let’s do it!” Rocky said.

At Wigglytuff’s guild, Alakazam walked in, his calm composure made the others a bit uneasy. “What’s the situation?” He asked.
“Oh! Alakazam!” Chatot squawked “I would say it’s going good, but that’s obviously a lie!” He said, flapping his wings wildly.
Alakazam nodded as he walked towards one of the monitors that Chatot was looking at. “Hmm… These aren’t your typical electrical storms… they’re way too powerful… As if… Thunerious, Zapdos, Zekcrom and Rikou were in a war against each other… But’s that’s only my speculation.” The wise pokemon said. Chatot looked at Alakazam, his eyes were widened. “Do you think it is the legendary electric type pokemon fighting against each other?” Chatot asked.
“I do not have enough information to make that call… Wait a second” Alakazam’s eyes widened “That static electricity is greater. These storms aren’t caused by legendary pokemon!”
Bidoof walked in, just as he heard what Alakazam said “Hyuck, so the static electricity is caused by Mareep?” He asked. Alakazam looked at Bedoof and shook his head. “No, Bidoof. I’m not sure what caused this storm, but I can tell you this; if that storm keeps growing larger, then the entire world will be doomed.”
Chatot and Bidoof’s eyes widened as Bidoof stuttered to talk “H-hyuck! That’s… that’s not good. No sirre! Not good!”
An alert pop up on the screen, as Chatot looked at it. “Speaking of not good...Omega!” Chatot shouted, calling for the pokemon heroes.
At the base, Omega answered the call “What’s wrong, Chatot?” She asked, as she started to type quickly on a computer.
“There’s a fire in Northern Canada!” Chatot squawked. “The Canadian Fire & Rescue crew as well as the Fire Rangers* are on their way, but they’ll need back up!” Chatot said.
(*Editor’s Note. This world’s equivalent of the Burning Rangers from Sega’s 1998 Sega Saturn game Burning Rangers.)
Omega nodded as she spoke to the computer “System look up Sam Sparks and Hal E Copter.” She then looked at Wendy and Ariel. Jack and Jake had left earlier for another mission, so Omega only had Wendy and Ariel. The two women nodded as they ran out, Ariel shouting “We’ll say ‘Hi’ to Shou and Reed for you!” Omega nodded as she looked back at the monitors.

At the PKNN News building, at the Flying Keeps, Kaycee was asking some of the other flying pokemon if she could borrow them for the fire, when a Gotitell walked past her, sounding snooty. “Why not use your noivern. More suited for you.”
“But Sarra, Tony is injured! I don’t want to make his injury any worse!” Kaycee objected. The Gothitel scoffed at Kaycee “Whatever. You’re so annoying!”
“And you’re rude, Sarra.” A familiar voice spoke out as Tony walked into the Flying Keeps and up to Kaycee and lowered his good wing down to let Kaycee on. “Are you ready?” He smiled.
“But… Tony!” Kaycee started, but Tony shook his head.
“That Canadian fire isn’t going to report itself, Kaycee.”
Kaycee smiled as she hesitated before nodding and scampering onto his wing. “Let’s do this, Tony!”
Tony nodded as he walked out of the flying keeps before turning to Sarra and giving a gentle smile “Oh, and Sarra, can you stop being rude to Kaycee? I know you’re just jealous because Airpona doesn’t treat you like how I treat Kaycee. But, you’re the bigger person, you can ask Airpona to stop hurting you!” He said before turning around and flying off.

Back at the Swiss Alps, Rocky, Bob, and Windchill ran through the snow, searching for any snowboarders when Rocky and Windchill found someone. “Bob!” Rocky called out. “We found someone!” He said, as he and Windchill dug through the snow. The orange wevile raced over to help them, but by the time he was next to them, they had already dug up both snowboarders. Bob pulled out two stretchers, which was fit for the snow and placed them on the ground. Rocky pulled them out and placed them on each stretcher. Bob placed his claw over his headset “Al, we have two snowboarders.” Bob started.

Al was at the chalet, which was snowed under, as he muttered to himself. “What’s the best way to get into a house that is buried under this snow?” He then paused and smiled, as his claw glowed a metallic silver. Al punched the ground, with Metal Claw, breaking a large hole into the roof, startling those inside. He then peeked inside the hole in the roof, a friendly smile was stuck on his face. “Sorry, dudes, to scare you like that but doors are just so bogus.” He said, before getting up and replying to Bob. “Alright, Bob. Get them to the infirmary pronto. I’ll be there as soon as I get these guys out.” Al said.

Bob and Rocky nodded, as Bob had one injured snowboarder on his bobsled, which was pulled by some houndours, and Windchill. Rocky had the other one on a stretcher where Rocky can hold it, next to a hover board. Bob looked at Rocky, as he gave Rocky an order. “I want you to follow me down the west route. It’s less direct but totally out of the way of any potential avalanches.”
However, Rocky ignored him and went the other way. “Al said pronto. I’ll get there pronto.” Rocky said. And like that Rocky was off. “ROCKY! WAIT!” Bob shouted. Bob got onto his sled and told the houndours to hurry.
As Rocky went down his route, a lightning bolt hit a pole, causing another avalanche. Rocky noticed the Avalanche, and pinned his ears back, as he tried to race against it. He then noticed a slope as she went towards it and jumped off of it, as a young skarmory flew towards Rocky and caught him and the injured, and now terrified, snowboarder. Rocky sighed as he looked at the camera on his arm. “Omega is going to be mad at me…” He said.
