Earlier today I felt it was a good idea to specifically go to page 9 of list posts in Pennylessz's profile to look for any incriminating info, don't ask why.

Instead, I found a ghost post. It's nothing major but thought I would share this with you in case you guys wanted to check your profiles to see if you are missing any posts. Smack in the middle of post #1869 and #1870 is a mysterious post. The post exists, but it does not count towards his post total and has a ? listed as post # as well as 0 words.

This post is from 11/06/19. The thread in question is "A Birthday thread for my good friends!" by Eniitan.

I cross referenced everyone who replied to that post, including Eni, Ex Palen, and gamerforlifeforever. The 3 of them also have a ? on their profiles where this post should be.

This means that all 4 of them have at least one more post than their profile says. It also means that there could be other threads that are like this and that other users might be missing posts without even knowing it.

I'm not sure if the words didn't count either, I'll have to manually count the words from all his posts and add them up to see if any are missing.

I did some more research into this and found some new info.

A: This affected EVERY SINGLE THREAD made that day and
B: It was a result of another database crash that happened more than a year ago.


David made 3 threads that day, for a total of 4 posts. All 4 of those posts are lost for him, they go from 43907 to 43908, skipping over all 4 and not adding them to his totals.

I went ahead and counted 10 users who lost at least 1 post.

Earlier in the year (March 2020), the site's database was accidentally deleted so I had restored from a backup from 11/06/19. Most content that was submitted to the site after that 11/06/19 was manually restored by me. This resulted into some of the content going missing or getting messed up.
