My clothes washing machine leaked, the pipe popped off, and now my main floor is flooded. I dried up most of the water, but it's under my laminate floor and leaked down into my crawlspace. The main water line broke too, and our crawlspace is flooding. I live in west coast canada, and it's always raining. How will our house ever get dry? D:

My house has two floors, we slept upstairs last night. We have all the water turned off and mopped up the main floor, and got most of the stuff out of our crawlspace. The water down there is shut off too, and we've got buckets set up to catch the pipes that are still leaking. Everything should be okay, hopefully.

I don't know. I don't think they were related events, I think it was just coincidence. The main line may have been broken for a while and gone unnoticed until now, when we went into the crawlspace to see how much of the flood had made it down there from the main floor.
