Pokemon Home was released to the world nine months ago and allowed for the transfer of all sorts of Pokemon, especially if you had a paid account. You could transfer 3DS Pokemon to Home and into the Nintendo Switch games through Bank, you could transfer Pokemon from Sword/Shield to Pikachu/Eeevee and vice versa, and you could do so much more.

But now the ability to transfer Pokemon from Go into Home has become a reality, and for some trainers who have been playing Go since 2016, it means the ability to transfer hundreds of Pokemon into the newer games.

But of course there is always a catch. For example, I wouldn't be able to transfer any of my Pokemon because I rarely played Go. I played for a couple months when it first came out and then for a couple months sometime in 2018 but other than that I haven't given the game too much thought because of how much power and data it drains.

As a result, I'm still only level 22. You need to be level 40 in order to transfer Pokemon out of Go.

Not only do you have to be level 40, but there's also a bunch of smaller nuances such as the fact that you have to use energy to transfer Pokemon and it takes a whole week to fully restore your energy unless you pay 1,000 coins. Plus. the amount of energy that you have to spend depends on the Pokemon you want to transfer.

Some are really cheap but a shiny mythical Pokemon is going to cost the same as like 75-100 low CP common Pokemon. So if you have a bunch of shiny mythical Pokemon, it would take you months to transfer them all into Home.

LadyWizard : I hope you're right because if I have to keep playing until I reach level 40 then it's probably going to end up taking me months until I can transfer the few Pokemon that I want to move.
