I see them betrayed by ones they love.
Rest your head now, I am the Promise Keeper.

Mending broken hearts like doctors in glove.
You hide your heart, I'll be the seeker.

I want you happy, so you can live life.
Open your eyes, someone in there wants light.

From that light, smile and relinquish strife.
Let your iris's shine with newfound sight.

Don't close off, that mistake will be your last.
Emotion is all you, don't become a cage.

Let me help you, put your chest in a cast.
Let out your built up tears, pain, sadness,rage.

You will break down again, that much is quite true.
But it's never the end, I'm here for you.

This is well written! It has great uplifting themes and some great things to visualize Also, as someone who has been learning more about poetry writing myself, I appreciate the flow of this poem and the rhyme scheme!

I hope to see you write more poems eventually! I understand if you don't, though, because it can be hard to get inspiration.
