how are people dealing with stress with the virus going around?

from me, i am been fine with it.

how about you all been with this going around?

i'm just playing video games on vizzed.com, great site by the way reading, doing exercises and watching youtube videos.
so i'm fine with the stress.

Thankfully I have no stress to deal with. At home we're each of us on our own unless we have lunch or dinner, so I can just seclude myself and focus on my things without much trouble.

It's bugging me that I can't go see my girlfriend with enough freedom or we aren't able to even meet, but I try to cope with it the best I can. Looks like soon we'll enter a new phase so let's hope the change brings something good.

I've been doing alright with the stress. I was very stressed some days, but my year of college ended so now I've had much less to think about and less to do.

My main source of stress during this time has been not being able to see my friends. I went from seeing them every day to not seeing them at all so that's been a difficult transition. I'm glad to hear you're doing fine with all this though!

I've been doing pretty well with the stress and health side of stuff here. Usually when I wake up I go out and walk around the neighborhood for a couple miles while drinking coffee and that helps.

I saw someone on Twitter say the cure for Coronavirus is sunshine and fresh air. So I assume most people are in exceptional denial. This is exacerbated by corporate media outlets.

pennylessz : you not only one. i don't go outside because few things. i only go out to check my weekly spending check. i got no energy now to do go out anymore.

pennylessz : That's just weird. It worries me that not a lot of people I've seen have been careful, and they especially haven't been careful outside.

Pacman+Mariofan : What's worse is the fact that the death and infected toll have been rising steadily for weeks, yet people act like it's over. It makes me worry that the US Government will stop bothering to report, and just act like Coronavirus is a normal part of life. There's nearly 45,000 deaths a year from lack of health insurance here, we don't even seem to care a smidge about that. What's a couple hundred thousand extra?

Pacman+Mariofan : i do agreed with pennylessz for once. they need tell china off for once and stop hiding the truth why were they working a virus in the first place. i heard about it through youtube commenical with a full timeline and the whole story not the news has. china was up to something like in the cartoon tnmt with the onze. they were doing it with a virus as well.

pennylessz : Yeah I've noticed that. I've seen a lot of people acting like the virus outbreak is over. And in my opinion, they've gotten too excited too quickly about returning to group settings/restaurants/etc.

Pacman+Mariofan : there is some are like my program only like ppl come in 1 or 2 days a week in june and some aren't reopening in my area

Honestly, I'm trying not to think about this Coronavirus. I am attempting to do other things with my time when I can't get out and look for work. With me, it feels like I need to be able to just stay at home and take care of myself, but that is completely unrealistic given my situation. I do what I can do and quit listening to all the negativity.

As long as I know I'm doing my best, that's all that matters. I got laid off several weeks ago to a month ago from a job I had just started!! Why? Makes no sense! Why hire someone just to lay them off? I hated working there anyway. There were way too many people running things, and it was too noisy. We had to wear ear plugs all the time!

I don't need to be in stressful environments like that anymore. I need to go back to having a job like I had over a year ago that was more laid back and people could work at their own pace. From here on out, I'm set on getting that and not settling for anything less. I'm happier with social distancing in a way because I'm better off by myself.

The people in my neighborhood and town are not the people I want to spend my time with. I want to meet people that are positive, but I'm not forcing myself to do it. I have certain expectations out of this, and I don't feel the need to keep giving in to people's demands during this time. I have to do what I need to do to take care of myself. If people come along that make that easier for me, that's the ones I want to spend my time with despite this lockdown.

cid789 : Yeah some businesses around me aren't reopening. They couldn't survive this situation, sadly.

luigi25 : That's a really powerful way to approach this situation. I've been trying not to dwell on the ways this situation has negatively affected me, and focus more on what good has happened. I've had to have grace on myself when it comes to doing enough, and I've been trying to convince myself that the efforts I'm taking are enough.

I also want to keep communicating more with people who are positive. I've been getting to know more of those people during this.

Pacman+Mariofan : true but very slowly here they are reopened but the big hit was resteruents are hurtly big time.

i do video chat on zoom, but not as much. once every month.

cid789 : My area has also been slow about reopening things. What have been impacted so much is local businesses. I'm thankful my friend's parents' restaurant is doing well, but other local businesses, especially restaurants, seem to really be struggling hard.

I think my struggles have been more about loneliness and boredom than stress. Fortunately, both of my parents and both of my step-parents are still employed, so money hasn't been an issue for my family. Online classes (in general) made college easier. I am not sick, and no one that I am close to is sick. The negatives for me hasn't been stress, but the inability to go places or see my friends.

Pacman+Mariofan : i do get that and i have been busy with my life mage on Wizard101 is on 12 years now since yesterday. 5/22/08 it was opened for all ages.

tgags123 : i do get that too tgags123. i don't get loneliness or boredom as much anymore. i have my laptop to keep me busy with alot games playing i do. you should check out Wizard101. a good game for all ages and it is on year 12 now since it came out on 5/22/08.
