I recently got my kids some cheap laptops for their home schooling and one of the privileges I'm letting them earn for doing their school work is time to play Minecraft. For them, it's an opportunity to play on the Vizzed.co Minecraft server. So if you see them on, please try to keep conversation PG. They'll be using my old rental accounts:

Vizzed_Girl = Naomi (she's 9)
Vizzed_Boy = Dauntez (he's 7)

They are allowed to chat so feel free to say hi to them if you ever see them

I really wonder if they're going to be into retro gaming as they grow up, given that their father is a collector of retro games, owns a retro game forum, and no doubt owns the big chonker known as a CRT. I don't use Minecraft much anymore as my computer practically melts itself running anything semi intensive, but I'll give em a greeting if I ever see them in a blue moon.

Boured : I've introduced them to many retro games. I've tried to have them play as many modern games as retro games. My daughter especially has a huge appreciation for retro games and prefers them over modern games. I introduced them both to the Dreamcast a few months ago and they both really liked it a lot. I even gave them their own VMUs (I had a few brand new) and they got a lot of enjoyment out of playing VMU games, such as Chao Adventure.

I actually did have a CRT up until a few years ago. It was of course bulky and took up space and I couldn't justify keeping it since I rarely used it so I had to get rid of it. I of course ended up regretting that decision a few years later though
