I'd like to add some more perks to my Patreon Reward Tiers as a way to encourage more users to pledge. What ideas could I come up with that might get more users to pledge?

Pledge $2 per month

All RGR Games Cost 0 Viz
-Play as many games as you want without losing Viz.
All Ads Removed
-No ads on Vizzed while an active Patron.
Special Icon Next to Name
-An icon will appear next to your name on most pages of Vizzed (depending on pledge tier).


Pledge $5 per month

Access to All RGR Games-
-Includes PlayStation games and any beta systems not publicly available yet.
Access to an Exclusive forum
-This forum will be used to talk about my current & future plans, get input, etc.
Extra Vizzed GO Trap
-You can deploy a 2nd trap as many times as you want in the Vizzed GO game.
Multiplier of Viz x 1.25
-All actions on Vizzed will pay out more Viz.

Pledge $10 per month

Access to Most Site Features
-All features that require special items to access which includes the ability to download songs from the Video Game Music Room.
Replies to Your PMs Quickly
-I'll try to respond to your Private Messages within around 24-48 hours.

1 Hour of My Time Monthly
-I'll hang out with you online for 1 hour a month gaming, chatting, etc. This can be stacked by up to 3 months -and also combined with other Patrons.
Monthly Announcement
-Each month I'll create an announcement which contains anything you want me to announce.
Change Your User Color
-You'll be able to change your username color whenever you want as often as you want. Your final color is permanent if you pledge for at least 1 year.
Your Own Minecraft World
Your very own world on the Vizzed.co Minecraft Server. Choose the settings and do just about whatever you want with it. World gets removed once you downgrade pledge but a copy of world will be sent to you.

Pledge $100 per month

8 Hours Toward Any Feature
-I'll invest 8 hours a month toward any feature that you request. It can be either a new feature or a current feature. This can be stacked by up to 2 months and also combined with other Patrons. If you fund at least around half of an entire feature, then your name will be permanently added to the credits of that page.
Change Your Border Color
-You'll be able to change your username border color whenever you want as often
as you want. Your final color is permanent if you pledge for at least 1 year.
Change Your Name Often
-You'll be able to change your username whenever you want but no more than once per a day.
Change Your Name Font
-Change the font family of your username.

Staff : It'd be great if I could get a few ideas or suggestions. If any of you think of something, please let me know

With the amount of people not giving out trusted points anymore, I'd suggest making the Digitized Patron (5+ dollars) a trusted tier, where if you are donating 60 dollars per year to the site, we can probably trust that you aren't here to ruin things for everyone.

Otherwise, it's hard to come up with rewards that have any real value in the current site, as it stands.

legacyme3 : That's actually a fantastic idea. Done.

I was going to do a $10 donation, but realized everything I'd want is in the higher tiers. You'd probably get a larger number of donations if you condensed tiers a bit more. I mean, let's be honest, I and frankly nobody is going to donate $50 monthly just to change their name color. Many people just don't have the capital.

Anyway, on that note, special customization features are a go to for luring me in. I'd certainly donate some amount to be able to use more fonts in my layouts, or have a higher cap on things like image size in uploads and layout creation. As I have made aware to you before, I had over 30 layouts get erased thanks to the site screw up, I really can't get back into it as it is now.

pennylessz : Username colors used to be a real big deal and super rare, so the price is pretty accurate. When I requested mine, only 4 people had custom colors and David said I'd have to be in the top 10 in donations, which was $500 back then.

Too many customization options or giving the chance to so many people might bring down the original overall value of the changes.

zanderlex : Whatever you say. At the end of the day though, a color is just a simple aesthetic change, and last I checked, the Patreon is only getting $25 a month total. I pay $10 for another Patreon that gets me access to exclusive interactive livestreams, special chat rooms, the ability to help shape the future of the content from the creator I'm donating to, occasional physical rewards, bonus locked content from prior production, and early access to everything. Things can be valued however you want in your own space, but that doesn't translate so well to real life currency among people who are deciding to donate every single month. The current $10 tier for Vizzed is downloading music and quick replies basically, since Viz is inflated, and being friends with David on your profile is superficial.

pennylessz : Custom name colors isn't something I want to give out easily. Users have donated $100s to the site just to get one. And there actually have been users who have done the $50 tier and even a few months at a time.

I like the idea of higher caps. That's something I'll think about more. Didn't know about layouts getting erased. 30? Wow.


zanderlex : 100% agree. A real big slap in the face to those who earned one.


pennylessz : I mean, it's not like you wouldn't also be helping out the site. It sounds like I can't compete with that other guy. Whatever happened to the days where people helped each other out without expecting anything in return?

Davideo7 : I should probably note that I'm pretty damn poor and that's the only Patreon I've donated to. I do want to help out the site, it's just hard to spare money monthly. When I listed off the other Patreon, I was simply stating the amount people often get for such an amount on Patreon, because I would like you to get more donations, and am not sure what's currently up on offer is enticing enough for a larger amount of people to donate monthly. If I didn't care to help out, I wouldn't be here, and wouldn't have attempted to drum up activity as I have. Perhaps I didn't word things very nicely, but I do want your Patreon to garner more success, and for larger swaths of time than a few months.

On that note. You have a large backlog of games in the market that seem to not be receiving any love, why not add that to a tier? As long as you don't give away too many monthly, I think it would encourage people to donate. I'm even sitting on some codes for decently recognized games I could give you for that. So long as you accept my apology for making you frown.

pennylessz : I suppose I could do that in the form of 'Raffle Tickets'. Maybe each tier grants you a certain number of Raffle Tickets a month. The Raffle Ticket item is equivalent to US $10 so with that, you can claim a game in the shop based on it's value rather than based on the going Viz price. Some games in the market are only available to those with the Raffle Ticket. That's definitely something I can consider.
