I just recently tried Beyond Meat for the first time and I have to say it is really good, arguably better than actual meat. I threw on some sauteed onions, lettuce and a tomato slice with mayo and ketchup and it was phenomenal. It is a bit pricier than regular meat, which might be a turn off for some people, but if you can get your hands on it I definitely recommend it. Have you had the chance to try it or are you willing to give it a try? Let me know if you have or what your experience with Beyond Meat is!

MordecooLol23 : I haven't tried it and to be quite honest i don't have any intention to.

To put simply it's a product that doesn't really appeal or make a difference for me as i don't really eat meat all that much anyways. If one of the low quality food chains near me decides to do it then sure but that's pretty much unlikely.

I try to stay away from products like this anyways. I kinda have a very picky diet to begin with (that isn't healthy at all) Just because of my lifestyle.. Could i change it? probably ... is it worth the effort? nope.

Fair enough, its definitely not for everyone. If you do venture out and have the option to get it then you definitely should. Granted, some places prepare it better than others so don't get completely shut off by the idea. Based on what you said though I don't think this reply would really apply to you but for anyone else that sees this thread then its good advice for them.

I really like Beyond Meat's burgers and brats. My dad became a vegan in 2018 and I've been eating a lot of vegan food ever since. I still occasionally eat meat and cheese with other family members but otherwise I've mostly been eating vegan food lately. Beyond is a big part of that along with Violife cheese.

nakina : Oooooo they have brats? I had no idea! I've only ever seen the patties or just the regular ground beyond meat. I feel like vegan food has come a long way in the last 5 years and the Beyond Meat is a great example of its success. If they keep coming out with stuff like this or lower the prices a little, I might consider going full vegan lol

I haven't tried it yet but I've been eating the impossible meats a lot and I really like those. The problem for me is the price of the Beyond Meat at some of the supermarkets here.

zanderlex : I haven't tried any of the impossible meat. I'm assuming its the same concept as Beyond Meats? I think Burger King or Mcdonalds has it if memory serves. I'll definitely have to try it out!

I have tried out the Impossible Whooper from Burger King, and to be honest, the burger tasted like crap. Not sure why a lot of people thinks that this is some kind of thread, eating a lot of vegan-burgers and "Beyond/Impossible" Burgers, but hey, I don't control your lifestyle.

At least to me, it's not really worth eating anymore of these types of sandwiches after my experience.

I've had a Beyond Meat burger at my local A&W and it was pretty decent. Wouldn't replace the real thing for me, but I wouldn't be opposed to it if I was offered it.

I have, and it is disgusting.

I gave it a shot, because I was begged to, by one of my vegetarian friends who insists I'm murdering the planet by eating meat.

Sorry, would rather taste something that doesn't taste like ass.

Honestly I only tried it once because gym life and all and let me tell you... it was a very weird experience for me. I enjoy my red meats and protein from animals not from some... knock off imitation that says it’s better. Maybe I cooked it wrong or it was expired? I don’t know but it was a just... unsettling to say the least
