Yesterday I had an idea for a sports story and I spent almost all day and parts of today working on it.

Instead of posting it to some of my usual places, I'm aiming high since I submitted it to the Washington Post today.

I would love if they accepted it but if I don't hear back from them by the end of the month, I have a short list of other major papers that I'll be able to submit it to.

If they do accept it, or the next place does, it should be an easy boost to my application for grad school.

The story itself has to do with the MLB Hall of Fame.
