When I Revamped the screenshot system, I never got around to making it possible to rate screenshots. I just recently did this and so you guys should all be able to rate screenshots again like you could before.

Well that's good, the site is getting closer and closer to being made more stable. At some point perhaps the entire site will be fully converted to the new code.

Glad to see it working just in time for TDV and as far as I can tell it's working pretty great so far. That being said I never really used it before now so I guess I'm not the best to say it's working well. xD

Good to hear that it was fixed, though admittedly I hadn't noticed anything was wrong. I rated a screenshot a couple days ago, and it worked fine.

On the subject of screenshots, there's something that I'm still curious about: I've been unable to add descriptions or categories to screenshots for a couple months now. Is anyone else dealing with this issue?

I did this a ton the last two TdV's so I'll have to check it out later haha, not to the same extent as last year but a few cheeky ratings here and there ; )

Davideo7 : Just letting you know that rating from mobile is now impossible. The numbers are cut off and trying to click on a cut off number seems to do nothing.

So far after doing it for a few days I'm happy with the new system : )

Sometimes had issues with screenshots loading before and now that seems to be fixed.

Congo! : I think the option to rate screenshots still existed on each individual screenshot page but there wasn't an option on the page that displays multiple screenshots (until now).

Are there any errors you get when trying to change description or category? I did recently fix something that might have fixed that also.


zanderlex : That should be fixed now. Keep in mind that you can rate a screenshot from its individual page and that might be the better option for mobile devices.

Davideo7 : I don't receive any errors on the Vizzed website itself, but if I try to update screenshot details (such as category or description), I get a couple of errors on Firefox's console upon clicking on "Update Details for Screenshot" and my changes are not saved. Essentially, all it does is reload the page. Here is a screenshot of Firefox's console errors after attempting to update a screenshot for Smurfs - Nightmare for GBC. I've filtered the console log to only show output related to screenshot.php. I don't know much about website coding, so I'm not sure what the exact issues are, but I do hope this helps a little.

I made a post in an older thread speculating that this might be SSL certificate problems due to the mixed content errors in the log, but I'm not 100% sure now, as it seems that you have already fixed some related certificate issues around a month ago.

Lastly, I've noticed that a few users like no 8120 and DavidMcC1989 are still able to add categories and descriptions to their screenshots, so this might just be an issue on my end. I tried another browser (Google Chrome) but it still doesn't work. Here's a picture of the console output from Chrome just in case its needed.
