This is a new idea I'm trying out in order to have some fun on the site and encourage some activity. Here you will be able to bet Viz on football (soccer) matches and win Viz based on the odds, if your guess turns out to be correct. As this is in a trial phase I'll be limiting the bets to big games, mainly the upcoming champions league matches, as well as some other big league games (focusing on the EPL as that is what I and the people I know follow). Currently the betting limit will be 10k Viz per match, depending on the response this gets I'm willing to increase that amount.

To try this out you'll be able to bet on the first batch of upcoming champions league matches that are happening this comign week. To be clear this refers specifically to the first leg and not the ending result. I suggest using oddschecker for up to date odds as that is what my payouts will be based on.

In order to add an extra bit of fun I'll make it into a little competition. Succesful bets will earn you points, based on the difficulty of the bet and the top better (assuming this gets some turn out) will be recognized in the thread description and through a score tally in this opening post.

Odds are subject to change based on surrounding circumstances but the odds that stand once a bet has been confirmed by me will be the ones affecting the pay out. This could be interesting. I have a lot of wealth to spare, so I only hope I don't raise stakes too much xD

I have a suggestion for another big game that could be included in these bets: Barça-Madrid. They'll play twice in Copa del Rey during this month, but the big matchup will be the first weekend of March as it's the second leg of La Liga. It will be a match followed far and wide, so I think it should also deserve this thread's attention.

I'll post my bets later on. A couple of matchups are hard to decide, and I don't want to bet in all three results due to being rich because that'd be a low move from me

EX Palen : I'd be willing to make a few exceptions for very prolific games. El Clasico was the main one I could think of as well when writing this post, seeing as they are arguably the two biggest teams right now (based on their performance in the champions league). Though I might also include a few other La Liga and Serie A matches like the Milan Derby.

Feel free to bet in all of them if you'd like. I don't really mind since I set the limit taking that into consideratoin.

Unfortunately since this did not seem to get much interest, I'm going to close this for now. I might retry it at some point if the situation seems to change.
