How does the NES feature of Switch Online work? Has anybody used it yet? Is it a streaming service where you have to stay online and connected to your account? Or do you download the games to the Switch like what happens with PS+?

tgags123 : Yeah I turned on my phones hotspot and I used it. Then I turned it off and switched my Switch off and then tried again and was able to play. I did some research and it says in order to use the NES, I have to manually connect to the internet at least once a week.

Not to play, just for the Switch to make sure that I still have a subscription.

I think that's a bit dumb though because the Switch should know when my subscription started and should be able to figure out when a year would be up lol.
