Respond to this thread with up to 2 users you think would do a great job. The more users you choose, the less weight your votes have. So if you feel really strongly about someone, then vote for just 1 user.

Here's what determines the weight of your vote

The weight of a vote depends on the user and how many votes that user makes. Users who have a high rank, been around for a long time, and have a high post count, will have a vote with more weight. This is fair because those users should have a bigger impact on the results since they're more familiar with the community and have a higher reputation compared to someone who just registered with the single purpose of altering the results.

Here's the formula for figuring out the weight of your vote:
User Level * Power Level

And if you have multiple votes, it'd look like this:
(User Level * Power Level) / Vote Count

The User Levels can be viewed from their profile and also next to their posts to the left. A User Level is based on how long a user has been here and how many posts they have.

Here's the numbers that represent each Power Level:
0 = Newbie
1 = Normal
2 = Trusted
3 = Elite
4 = Site Staff
5 = Local Mod
6 = Global Mod

-Posts with negative ratings will be investigated and potentially ignored

I was writing this post in the application thread but unfortunately it closed before I could post it. Anyway here is what I said....

"I don't know how many votes we are getting but I'd just like to mention this because maybe it will make the two applicants reconsider what they said about having "no agenda". Having an agenda is not a bad thing, it is a good thing. Whether it be more teamwork within staff, being more helpful within the community, whatever it may be... I think that admins SHOULD have some sort of agenda or goals set in place because you got 6 months to prove yourself. Having those goals in place would be a good thing to decide whether you are doing a good job or not and it will also help with future applications if you are able to prove your successes.

I mean imagine if I had applied to become developer and in my app I said I have no goals or agenda in place to fix or grow the site. Who would in their right mind hire me?

Sorry, not trying to be insulting just trying to help. We could use some direction and some leadership within the admin position, after all, it is the highest position one can get here on Vizzed!"

Therefore... I am placing all my votes on one person...

Light Knight : Because his application not only showed proof of his abilities but he also has a clear agenda and desire to take on this position so that he can make Vizzed Great Again.

I'm sorry for the two other applicants but I ultimately decided not to vote for either because I found their applications too similar and neither was not really clear about any sort of agenda or goals for the next 6 months. It would be unfair to pick one over the other. Don't hate me guys but I hope you understand my reasoning for not voting for either of you. Look at the bright side, one of you two WILL make admin position despite me not voting for either of you. And one of you will still be global, which is just as good and powerful as admin position.

EDIT: I would like to thank Minuano and m0ssb3rg935 for applying despite what I said about their applications, the fact you gave us a chance to vote means a lot to the community and we thank you for your services!

I completely trust that he has, and has had, the best vision for Vizzed over the past few years. When I first signed up on the site, he was a local, and he was extremely polite and kind, despite all of the mayhem I had caused. While I never got the chance to know him too well because he did take some time off, I fully trust that he knows what he is doing. I missed out on voting for locals originally, because I read the date wrong, but I would’ve given all of my points to him then. There’s no one I’d rather have in the admin position than him.

He's been with the site for a really long time and has proven to be very promising, I think he knows exactly how to handle a lot of the site matters and he also seems very eager to help out. Were he to be an admin I think the website could benefit a lot from having him.

Davideo7 : your power levels don't include local mods or global mods. Are we going to be included in site staff or are we not allowed to vote?

Just curious as I plan to put together a chart for myself to verify results and would like to know how mods affect voting.

Like I said with my initial vote for him in the moderator election, I think he's shown to be quite capable of handling his job and I think he could do great things for Vizzed's activity.

geeogree : VERY nice catch LOL. These rules were created when we dumped all staff, they must be updated. I would assume this is the new formula:

0 = Newbie

JigSaw : I think that is likely what the new formula would be as well but I didn't want to assume. I'd rather have David confirm what the formula is supposed to be. Then we will know how the results are likely to go.

I think it would be better if locals and globals were classified the same as site staff just so we don't get too crazy with the multipliers.

I agree with with Yoshirulez, I just assumed mods would have the same multiplier as staff.

yoshirulez! : I'm inclined to agree with you on that one. I don't need a 5 times multiplier to give my votes even more sway than they already have.

Plus, giving the mods and globals 5 and 6 times power would practically give us the decision anyway.... unless we get a ton of other members voting.

The three global mods running are in a unique voting position. They can technically vote for their other two competitors without having to take sides who is better for the job!!!

I'm voting for m0ssb3rg935 and Light Knight. I feel these two are the most qualified at tackling this position. 

I want to vote for all 3 of them, UGH. They're all excellent fits. But I suppose I have to choose. I vote for:

Light Knight - Has multiple years of experience more than the other two. He's never been controversial, everyone likes him, and he's always worked very hard as a moderator. I used to wonder whatever he actually did last time he was global. When I became a local moderator temporarily, I saw behind the scenes that Light Knight basically lead the entire mod team and did an exceptional job at it.

Minuano - Minuano is someone who can connect with people. He's relateable in many ways to lots of important users here. I've seen people call him their father because he always knows what's best. He shows that great wisdom does not always require age.

I'm splitting my votes between 2 people.

Light Knight : I'm willing to admit that I haven't had an opportunity to get to know him that well, but he spent a long time as a mod, and I've heard nothing but positive stuff about him. I feel that for the admin position, he's more prepared than Minuano.

The reason I pick Light Knight is because the experience he has with Vizzed. Afterall, Light Knight is the 2nd longest user that has been part of the Vizzed community (only behind David obviously), and during this entire time on Vizzed, he has never got a chance to become an Admin, but has been a Mod for a good chunk of that entire timeline.

Plus, after reading, and I mean FULLY read the entire application that he provided, and he has everything that is highly requited to become an Admin and all.

Personally, I think it's time for LK to become an Admin on Vizzed, he highly deserves it 100%, and LK get's my IB stamp of approval to become an Admin.

After a little bit of reading and thinking, I'm going to vote for two people.

I've talked with Minuano before his name change, and all I've seen is someone who can be laidback, but get serious when needed. He doesn't seem like the type to abuse power, and I believe his decisions would help drive the community in a positive direction.

As for Light Knight...As others have already said, he's peobably spent more time on this site than just about anyone else, and I've also never seen him act unfairly. His "agenda" as he calls it is not a negative one, and he's also made it clear that he'll listen to his fellows when making decisions. It helps that he has plenty of experience with being a moderator already.
