Sometimes a post may contain a string of text that causes the post to be too wide to be viewed. This is because the post hides anything wider than 734 pixels as a way to prevent the page from distorting. It's also possible that some layouts (specifically older ones) might have been designed for a wide view and those posts were being cut off because of that.

I've made it so that a scrollbar appears for these types of posts so that the content can be viewed by scrolling horizontally. You can see an example of it in action here:
https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=101174&page=0#1359558

I'll eventually come up with a better solution to this since it still tends to wreck a user's layout but it was bugging me that my post was being cut off due to a line of text lacking spaces.

While I was at it, I also fixed the ugly table border overlapping stuff that has been happening for as long as I can remember. It's hard to explain what I mean but basically the post would spill out of the box that it was contained in to the right by a few pixels and then you'd have this messy look of messy borders.

Davideo7 : Use the css command, word-break: break-all;

I just tested it and it worked! Gets rid of that ugly side scroll bar.

See below for proof

JigSaw : That causes some other unpleasant side effects. Notice how every word gets cut off to the right and extends to the next line.

Davideo7 : Interesting, well that isn't pretty.

I think it can be worked around, if you were to count the characters of each word in a post and only apply the word-break on text strings that exceed a certain amount of characters that would fix the issue. You'd basically have to auto inject a divider with that word break applied anytime a single word goes over X amount of characters.

JigSaw : It doesn't happen very often that someone posts a really big word so it'll be rare for the scroll bars appear (unless someone is using a bad layout).

The scroll bar seems to appear in my layout even though I'm not using any very big words, so I guess that makes my layout bad now. (it was designed more for the old site layout where I can stretch my wallpaper to cover my entire post including the left side which has my level/userpic and the right side which has my rank/custom title, I really miss being able to do that)

But the current layout editor is somewhat broken so I'm afraid to edit/fix it. I heard that the preview thing doesn't work and after editing your layout, the site won't allow you to post for the first few times. (or the threads might look glitched/awkward because of it) Maybe not a big deal after some trial/error, but I consider it a kinda medium priority because at least half the users use layouts while the other half disables it. I could be wrong though.
