Yeah, it has happened to every single existing inbox. Hell, the staff inbox used to have +12k unread PMs all of a sudden, and my jaw dropped to the floor for a second.

I already marked my inbox as read, but they have resurfaced somehow. Maybe it's David migrating that page to the new code which causes it to malfunction for a limited time, but it's just a guess.

I was wondering the same thing as well, I only left Vizzed for around a hour and I came back and end up getting 2,158 unread messages.

I was like "How in the world did I manage to get 2,000 PMs all within an hour"? Then I realized this, since it's impossible to send 2,000 PMs at one time, I figured that it's a glitch of some sorts.

By the way, if you click on a message, it doesn’t do anything. It still shows up as new. Only way to get rid of this is to mark everything as read, and that will be a problem to someone who specifically has some as unread or someone who hasn’t gotten to all of their messages yet.
