What is the first game you can remember playing? The first game I ever played was Pokemon Gold in 2004. My cousin gave me her Game Boy Advance and her old copy of Pokemon Gold. Although, being only 3/4 years old at the time, I wasn't very good at it. I couldn't get past the 3rd gym.

The first game I can remember playing would be either super mario world super mario advanced 2 or megaman and bass for the game boy advanced Sp system. I can't remeber which one i played first because it was Christmas way back in 2004 or 2005 and my father and grandfather got me a gameboy advanced sp system with two games those games being super mario world super mario advanced 2 and megaman and bass. I remember I couldn't get past the huge bullet on the first stage of super mario world and my father helping me bear the first level.

It's really hard for me to remember because I was so little, but I'm wanting to say it was when we would go to the coin laundry with dad and play the arcade machines there. I think the first time was before my brother was born, more than 18 years ago. They had this golf game with a ball in it that you would roll. That was also the first time I played Metal Slug 2, which is still my absolute favorite side scrolling shooter of all time. I still wonder if that same machine is still there and if they'd be willing to sell it.

Pokemon Yellow. Was also the only game I played for a couple years due to financial issues that I'm not gonna get into.

I loved it to death. Still do. Wish I still had it, I have my GameBoy Color at least. Definitely still in my top 10 games of all time (probably due to nostalgia), no matter what anyone says about Gen 1 being super trash lol.

One day a long time ago my dad randomly brought home a NES and the only game he got was Jeopardy. I think I played it a lot and it was kind of cool but way too hard for me.

The very first video game I have ever played was Spyro the Dragon, and I played the game on my 7th Birthday in 2000.

Before my 7th Birthday, I spent playing a lot of toys, but then on my 7th Birthday, my brother gave me an opportune time to try out some video games, and he gave me a choice of what game I wanted and I picked Spyro, mostly because my young babby mind, it had a dragon that I play as and it looked like a fun game, so I tried it out, and since that day, I started playing more video game and more video games.

When I was real little my dad used to take me and my brother to a laundromat that had three arcade machines: Dig-Dug, Ms. Pac-Man, and the original Mario Bros, and we played the hell out of all three. I can't say which of those three was the first game I ever played, but Ms. Pac-Man was most definitely the one I loved best and it opened my eyes to the world of video games.

I don't really remember anymore, my dad tells me I played some sort of "virus simulation" on the apple ii computer but the first game I remember playing is Karateka on the same computer.

If I'm being honest, I think it was either a Dora The Explorer game for the Game Boy Advance, or a Seasame Street game for the Game Boy Color (that I played on my Game Boy Advance). I got my Game Boy when I was pretty young, and my Game Cube a few years after that. The first games I remember played extensively were Pokemon Ruby and Super Smash Bros Melee.

I believe it was Super Mario World on the Super Nintendo, but I'm not 100% sure. I remember never getting past World 2 because I was really young and hadn't figured out how to jump around and not die, and yet I still managed too have plenty of fun with it. At that age, beating the first castle might as well have been beating the entire game for me. I treated a lot of other games the same way when I was younger, and it wasn't until later that I started to value actually getting good and finishing the games I played.

I honestly can't remember for sure which exact game I played first, but if I had to guess, it would be one of the following...

Super Mario Land, Donkey Kong on the gameboy, Pokemon Red, or The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX. I honestly can't remember which of those games it was that I played first though.

The first game I ever played, as far as I remember, was Legend of Zelda: A link to the past. I was probably about 4 and I couldn't read well enough to understand the story lol. Pretty sure my filename was total gibberish too. I didn't get really far, but I enjoyed it quite a bit.

The first game I ever actually owned though was Pokemon Blue. I got that game and my GameBoy Pocket when I was 5, and was absolutely obsessed.

Hm, it's a good question. My first real memory of a game is Super Mario RPG. I watched my brother play it.

When I was 4, I think my sister let us play Super Mario Bros. 3 on her computer. It was pretty cool. It's been my favorite 2-D Mario since then.
