Davideo7 : While I know it's not your first priority, it would be great is somehow donations from Patreon were included on the Donation page. Say a member donates 60 dollars in the past year on patreon, it would be nice to have the show up on the donation page.

I think that entirely depends on if Patreon has API that can automate the process, otherwise it would be time consuming and David would have to manually enter in the values each time a Patreon renewed or upgraded their memberships. Maybe not though, there is not a whole lot of patrons so maybe it can be done, it would just be a hassle having to update it constantly if there is no automation in place.

I personally would not mix the two together on the same list unless that list was modified in a way that was specific to show which amounts came from standard donations and which amounts came from patreon because some people have donated by both methods and I don't believe David wants to mix up patreons with donors as they are two entirely different things.

Patreons are not really donors, they are more like paid subscribers who are given special access and hidden features. Those who donate just get Viz and no special perks. But yeah, I think it would be a great idea to include patreons in there as long as it is done properly.

I like the idea but I don't know how much effort it would be to incorporate the Patreon donation info into the donations page. You've got totally separate systems where the login used to donate might have nothing to do with the login name here.

Sounds like a lot of effort for David to give recognition for patreon donations that the donators already get. It would be interesting to see an updating total for every member though.

I wonder if he could somehow incorporate the group to make it work. Like if you have a certain patreon level then it would add a certain dollar amount per month.

I guess it could work if he didn't directly use the patreon info but made use of the groups he already has set up.

That might actually be too much work. It sounds like something that would have to be manually edited every month whereas the regular donations page is automated.

I think a separate leaderboard for patreon amount or months that's updated every now and then might work.

This is a good idea but it's not something I'd want to have to do manually. I'm sure there's API out there that would allow me to make this automated. It's something I can tackle at some point in the future. It's a good idea.
