A simple thread with a simple question. Has it snowed all where you live yet? Now that it's December, Winter is almost here, and with Winter may come lots of snow depending on your location. In my area, the first REAL snow just happened today, it was sticking, too. It didn't last very long though and ultimately I had to go school. If you want to get complicated, you could say the first snow here was a couple of weeks ago, but it was just flurrying for a bit.

No. Hell it rarely snows here when I feel like it should given our geographic position.

We had 1 random day last year of idk how many inches but about the width of 2 closed fists worth of snow. The last time before that was probably 4 years ago.

It's already snowed quite a lot here so far. The week before Thanksgiving we even had a big blizzard.

It should not snow where I live, though we've witnessed a few moments of snowfall and, on counted occasions, heavy storms that left snow packed up and froze roads (to our worst nightmare because we're not prepared for that).

This start of winter we haven't even gone below 15ºC (60ºF), and this week we've been close to 23ºC (73ºF). In fact, I've barely taken outside any layer of clothes that was meant only to combat cold, and in such cases, it was mostly an added undergarment. We've had severe rainstorms, though, so the sensation was very cold even if temperatures weren't that low.

I'd not say yet that we'll be free of snow. Winter is at its peak mostly during February over here, so until we hit mid-March we can still see everything around here.

Lexatom : yes, down where I live we have received about 5 or 6 cm of snow last week and a very light snowfall yesterday and today all the snow that we have received so far is quit normal for where I live in fact sometimes the first snowfall comes in either november or the end of october and with the way the weather is in my area I,m guessing that there will probably be a lot more snow coming unless we have a winter where it does not snow much

What do u think lol I live in Colorado.

There's even been a school closure due to snow already.

Though seriously it's not snowing nearly as much as I'd expect it to.

No and it makes me angry because in Washington we usually get at least one or two snow days here. It's probs because climate change, Washington is much more temperate now than it used to be.

We got a light dusting back about a month or so ago, but it was mostly mixed with sleet/freezing rain. Other than that, a few flurries but nothing substantial yet. We likely won't see it in the inches until late January or early February.

Snow... What the cabbages is that?

Seriously, where I live rarely gets any snow, although last year, we had only one day where we got 3 inches of snow, and that was it, and all that snow melted in a couple of hours after the last flakes fell.

Plus, the lowest the temps goes in my area is 44ºF (4ºC), although last year, it was pretty cold where it went down to around 15ºF (-10ºC). Although recently, it's been pretty warm though, like the coldest it's gotten (as of this post) is 50ºF (10ºC), which means, we haven't had any snow in my areaa.

I think it has snowed and melted away 3 or 4 times now. Finally have some snow that is sticking though we will be above freezing by the weekend and I imagine lots will melt away again.

I'm okay with that. By January we will have enough snow and most will stick and become a pain to deal with.

Lexatom : To be honest, not that much. It snowed only just a bit, but not as excessively as some years ago. However, the wind chill has intensified over the past week or so, and it has been disturbing, to say the least. It's hard to move about when I am often assaulted by violent, frosty winds or bizzarely belligerent temperatures. The only thing I can inform to anyone in regards to wild temperature shifts and other mishaps would be this; tread cautiosly.

Well we don't get much snow in my area. Once in awhile we might. However, this weekend we are getting what we normally get and that is an ice storm.

Ice storms is usually what we have to deal with in my area. Sometimes we have also had winter tornadoes esp in February. In addition, its usually very wet with rain

Nope. Doesn't snow here, ever.

I've actually never seen snow before. I don't really think it's for me, as I'm much more accustomed to warm temperatures, but I would like to be able to see it at some point in my life.

Yeah, maybe three times, not including the mini flurries that happen on occasion. I hate snow, and the cold but this year I’m really hopig for a white Christmas. Sledding is also a whole lot of fun and I feel bad that some people don’t get a lot of snow for that reason.

To my knowledge it doesn't snow exactly where I am in Arizona.
It's unfortunate because snow is probably one of (if not my favourite) weather conditions. I love how soft it is and looks.
I loved looking out my window only to be blinded by the sun reflecting off the sheets of snow on the ground.
My favourite thing to do was to be bundled up and just lay in the snow. I have not been able to enjoy snow since I was like.. Thirteen or Fourteen years old maybe. Which is odd considering that I could drive like an hour north and it snows three or four feet high. Maybe I'll do that sometime.

I live in Massachusetts. So it snows a lot in the winter.

Thankfully, it's only snowed a few times this year... but I'm fully expecting many awful mornings, driving to work at the ass crack of dawn, in terrible weather.

I'm a bit late to the party because I get to go out of state for college, but... yes. Oh yes it's snowed plenty at home. Apparently we had a decent stretch of no-snow that was abnormal, but now there's definitely snow. Everywhere, because it's only been snowing for the past three days almost straight.

Alaska is wonderful, albeit cold. I can't remember when my family said the first snow was this year, but apparently it hardly stuck until a week or two ago.

It did snow a good 4-5 inches for me here in Virginia last week. It was nice to see since it's barely snowed where I live for the past few winters. I don't think I would enjoy frequent snow because shoveling my driveway is always a pain, but an occasional snow day is always welcome in my book.
