November's music competition is for the Nintendo 3DS but I haven't uploaded many soundtracks yet. I don't have space to upload all of the soundtracks so I only want to add the best of the best but want to have at least 50 soundtracks available for the 3DS.

Simply respond to this thread with a 3DS soundtrack that you think we should add and me or a staff member will try and get it added before the month ends. I'm going to limit users to 3 requests per a month which means that if you requested something for the last competition, you are eligible to again request stuff for this competition.

YES! I love the 3DS! But now that I'm forced to actually look at my collection I don't have much lol. Think I lost a lot to trade-ins a while back.

Anyway, is the games list/playlist for 3DS games in that link all the soundtracks you have so far? If so, I must request these 3:
-Fire Emblem: Fates
-The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D
-Sonic Generations

I think that should provide a good mix and that they'd all definitely be worth adding. If, for some reason, one of those is an impossible request then my backup would be Fire Emblem: Echoes - Shadows of Valentia.

Also, aside from my trade-in of Generations a while back, I own all of my requested games. How does one actually go about ripping the soundtrack from the game itself? (it's legal, right?) Curious if there's anything I can do to help. Thanks!

EDIT: The 5 per company means only 5 from Nintendo, right? But Sonic and Bravely would still count as SEGA, Square, respectively? Just want to be sure. Hard to say who owns what with everything and its parent franchise appearing in Smash soon

The 5 per company rule applies for all companies. So for example, you're allowed 5 from Nintendo and 5 from SEGA.

I didn't want to say this in the submission thread as to not blatantly give away some of my song choices, but I just noticed after going through the soundtrack and it finally hit me: The Sonic Generations soundtrack you uploaded is for Consoles/PC, not the 3DS version. There were a few different stages in the handheld's rendition. I feel like I'm cheating now lol. Should I remove those entries?

Oh my no one else requested it yet so I guess I will. It would be pretty cool if you could add the Shin Megami Tensei IV soundtrack...it consists of 4 discs, it's a big one. I personally find it one of the absolute best soundtracks in the series (I'm honestly tempted to say it is the best soundtrack to date in the series ((yeah lookin at your NocturnePersona 5 lol)) because of the variety, composition and length and style)

More like all of them, to be honest. The PC/Console version's soundtrack is vastly superior quality-wise, but the 3DS has its merits because it's essentially a completely different game. Most, if not all, of the levels and boss fights are different. I didn't spend as much time with the 3DS version but was mainly thinking of Tropical Resort when I requested its soundtrack. Can't believe I didn't think of it until after I played almost the whole thing and made submissions the other day lol. I just have too much history with listening to that OST so it felt natural. Feel free to just not count those for me
