Since I have no internet or cable, even on days that I have both work and class, I'm usually trapped in my room with nothing to do for at least 5 hours a day. Which means that I have to rely on a heavy collection of movies, games, and books to actually be able to stay occupied.

Over the weekend I added a lot to my collection. I added a ton of movies and games from Wal-Mart, GameStop (Twice), and Best Buy (Three times). Most of the games that I bought were from series I like and ones I've already been keeping track of.

The rest were games I never paid attention to but either heard lots of good things about them or the critical reption was good and I want to know if these games are actually good, what they're about, features, etc.

The games include Mirrors Edge: Catalyst, Watch Dogs, Horizon: Zero Dawn (Complete), and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.

The other games I picked up include the new Adventure Time game, Assassins Creed: Origins, Rime, Cities: Skylines, Battlefront II, and Soul Sacrifice (Vita).

Any remarks on the first batch of games or suggestions on what other PS4, Vita, and 3DS games I should get?

Mirror's Edge: Catalyst was disappointing. I preferred the original, personally.

Watch Dogs (the first) was disappointing. Sequel was great though.

Horizon: Zero Dawn is good, I enjoyed it immensely, but got tired of it before I got to the end, so your mileage may vary.

I haven't gotten around to Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, but I'd heard poor things of it.

I don't care about Adventure Time, so I've got nothing for you there.

My best friend didn't like AC: Origins, but I think it might be better than he gives credit for. I've heard good things.

Rime is pretty good, in my opinion.

Cities: Skylines is meh.

Battlefront II, it depends, is it the old version or the new version? The old Battlefront II was amazing. The current one is alright, but kind of lacking. I like it better than the first attempt at Battlefront, at the very least.

Haven't played Soul Sacrifice.

As for recommendations:

PS4

You should really pick up Disgaea 5 if you have time to kill and just want to do something kind of mind-numbing and relaxing. Few things as addicting as leveling up constantly in that game, and resetting from level 9999 to level 1, and doing it dozens of times. Fun story, too.

If you like retro-ish games, I recommend the .hack G.U. remaster. I always liked it when I was a kid though, so again, your mileage may vary.

Final PS4 recommendation are the Yakuza games. You can get it on PC as well, but I don't know your specs.

3DS

If you don't own it yet, you need to get Fire Emblem Fates (either Conquest or Birthright, and just buy the DLCs, trust me, the third story is so much fun).

There's also a relatively new one out called Radiant Historia? That's fun too.
