I have a few favorite characters from shovel night 

Plague Knight is one of my favorites for sure. The main reason why he is one of my favorites is he is a scientists. I have science degrees myself. He is also kind of mysterious and is extremely shy. I am also shy myself 

Polar Knight is also one of my favorites. I mean he is based off of a viking. I am viking descent myself. He also has a high sense of honor. 

The main character Shovel Knight would be my third favorite. I like Shovel Knight because he has had tragedy, he is powerful, has a high sense of honor and has morals about him. I myself have a high sense of honor and good morals about myself
