I know I'm not going to be the first one that says this and I'm not going to be the last, but I'm going to say that Super Smash Bros. Melee is my most favorite GameCube game.

The reason why is because as a Smash fan, I have to go with Melee, and when I first played SSB Melee, I really enjoyed it (MewTwo was my main in Melee, although it took a bit of time to unlock him, prior to unlocking MewTwo, I used Pikachu), I didn't know at the time that this game really made the entire series take off in popularity.

Even though I would say "Super Smash Bros Melee", I'll go with "Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem". One of the best survival-horror experience you'll ever have in a videogame.

How to describe that game?

1) Lovecraftian story style
2) Several characters with different abilities and story, although they have a common point that I cannot spoil
3) A game mechanic that involves weapons, spells and a sanity gauge
4) It's a game that LOVES playing tricks to you!

My favorite game for Gamecube was Zoids Battle Legends hands down I really loved piloting the different zoids as well as playing along both the empire and republic story-lines. My  favorite mode was tournament mode since you could pick whatever zoids and depending on which pilots you pick it gives you different opponents. It was also really nice how for the most part choose what weapons the zoids had as well as color weather they had an e-shield, boosters, smoke or optic cammo plus there were also parts like armor or the ultra z(which increased all stats but weight) that you could put on zoids. All in all was really fun and had great graphicss too.

My favorite Gamecube game as well as my favorite game in general is The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker. I first played the game when I was around 4 or so and it was the first "big" game that I ever fully completed. I would spend hours sailing around exploring(and also lost on what to do next). All the dungeons and bosses were great, the story was really good, and the world, was so much fun to explore. The game certainly isn't perfect, but its a game that has stuck with me my whole life.

That's a tough one, but I think I'm gonna have to go with Mario Sunshine. The controls are tight, mechanics are fun, great level design that encourages you to toy around, explore, and to get better at advanced platforming, and generally a really great atmosphere. A few levels here and there are total bullcrap, but for the most part it's a gem. Replayed a lot of it fairly recently and it holds up amazingly well in almost every front. Only time it shows it's age is the precision aiming with Fludd

Honorable mentions: Smash Bros Melee and Wind Waker

Picking just one is very hard, but I'll go with Sonic Adventure 2 Battle.

I've never gone very far in the story mode because of the Chao World. I mostly spend my time there, training my Chao to look gorgeous and destroy the opposition in the wide variety of races (not that fond of Karate Chao though). I have hundreds of hours poured into that and I haven't yet completed that aspect, which for a 2001 game is very remarkable. I never get tired of that, there's always something to pursue and many different kinds of Chao to discover and make your main.

I have a few honorable mentions: Bomberman Generation, another game I could play for a long time; Kirby Air Ride, could never get enough of City Trial; F-Zero GX, last installment of a franchise that should have never left; and finally Pokémon Colosseum, I liked the twist from the core games and how you could connect with R/S/E back in the day to have an easy time grinding.

I can't forget two games already mentioned by other people, which are SSB Melee and Super Mario Sunshine. However, for some reason, I wouldn't be playing them just as much as the ones I listed above, maybe because I happen to own Brawl and thus Melee could be seen as outdated, and Sunshine because I'm not fond of single-player-only games.

Back when the GameCube was a thing, I wasn't allowed to play video games very much because my parents were very sheltering (and I usually stayed in trouble in some kind of way). The only game I ever remember caring about was Mario Kart Double Dash, so I am going to go with that one.

Bloody Roar Primal Fury was definitely one of my most favorite games to play on GameCube even to this day. No where would you find deeper fighting game mechanics at the time and on my YouTube channel, I came back to it and discovered there was even more secret mechanics that just changed everything I knew about the game. Of the franchise, bloody roar primal fury/extreme is seen as the definitive edition of the third game thanks to all the awesome tweaks and things they added to the game. Sadly, I’d bloody roar 5 were ever made, I don’t believe it would ever have the insane mechanics it would have while still somehow finding a way to balance around all of that. It would probsbly be heavily streamlined unless Eighting specifically helped with it while looking back to what they did on Primal Fury.

Not really a tough decision. Super Mario Sunshine. I have five GameCube games: Mario Party 4, 5 and 6, Pac-Man Fever, and Super Mario Sunshine. Come on, why wouldn't I choose Sunshine? First off, it's not a party game like the other 4 GameCube games I listed. Secondly, it has an interesting story. Thirdly, it doesn't have terrible characters. I'm talking to you, Pac-Man Fever. And lastly, it's the only game I'm aware of in which Bowser actually speaks English and not in roaring noises like in Super Mario Galaxy and Mario Party 2.

I couldn't get enough of Gale of Darkness when it was new. To me it was revolutionary because the graphics and setting were a huge contrast from the way that the handheld Pokemon games looked and felt back in the day.

The story was also really good and playing the game was so much fun, nothing else came close to it for me.

I guess my favorite would have to be the first game I beat, as I could never put it down when I played it. That game would be Sonic Riders. I just... Can't never ever put it down when I get a chance to play it (don't use my GC much these days)

A close second is Sonic Heroes. First game I ever got, though I still haven't managed to beat it in the 10 years I've had it.

I personally did not own a Nintendo Game Cube. But some of my friends did and I played it when I was with them. The favorite game to play was Luigi's Mansion. That game was fun, the graphics were amazing, and getting to play as Luigi as the main character was so much fun. I was not good at the game mainly because I was not familiar with the controls. However, I had fun playing it so if I had a favorite it would be that one

My favorite GameCube video game is Super Mario Sunshine. I always kept coming back this game despite having a lot of other GameCube games that I liked. What I like the most is that this game was far different from every other previous mario game and it did well doing so.

Well, on top of Super Smash Bros Melee, which happens to be my most favorite GameCube game, but I have also liked Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness, as well as Super Mario Sunshine, and Luigi's Mansion, other than those 4 games, I haven't plated any other GameCube games.

Oh boy, the Gamecube has a huge library so it's going to be kind of tough to answer this one...

I'd say my favorite Gamecube game is probably Metroid Prime, to be honest. Such a great game, and a great attempt at bringing Metroid to 3D.

The gamecube had a surprisingly solid lineup so I'm actually having trouble figuring out which game to pick.
I'm so, so tempted to pick out one of the mario sports games or ESPECIALLY Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door but at the end of the day all of my childhood love goes to Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness. It was my only Pokemon game growing up so I poured hundreds of hours into it easily and I can never bring myself to properly critique it anymore.

The Legend of Zelda, Twilight Princess, hands down. I'm actually really surprised no one's mentioned it here, yet. Twilight Princess is, in my opinion, nearly the perfect Zelda game, and the best in the franchise to date, since I don't really count Breath of the Wild as a true Zelda game, regardless of how good I think it is. I'm actually really, really hoping the next entry in the series is more like Twilight Princess than Breath of the Wild or Skyward Sword, even though I really enjoyed the way Skyward Sword played and the newer mechanics and approach to open world of Breath of the Wild.

Honorable mention would be Metroid Prime, which I think still holds up today. It controls great, the visuals and sound are absolutely stunning, and it's a very interesting take on the first-person shooter genre. If you were going to take Metroid 3D, this was the only way it could've been done and stay true to the franchise

The GameCube was my first console, and to this day it's still on of my favorites. A lot of my favorite games are GameCube games, including Super Mario Strikers, Mario Superstar Baseball, and Super Monkey Ball. My favorite GameCube game, though, is Super Smash Bros. Melee. Super unoriginal, I know, but it's true.
