OVERVIEW

As a trophy hunter, this is one of those games I'm on the fence about. This game is actually free but it contains no trophies so you get what you pay or in this case didn't pay for. While the other factors are lethargic at best, the replayability of the game surprisingly takes the center stage here. The goal is to uncover all the squares safely without uncovering any bombs or else it is game over and that is all there is to it.

GRAPHICS - D+

The graphics in this game is a total joke. All you really have here is a game that looks like it was just thrown together in 5 hrs. All there is are squares and some cheesy background to choose from and cheesy explosions and that is all.

SOUND - F

There is not much to say about as far as it comes to music. It is basically only two tracks which is the title screen and gameplay and that's it. The sounds are not much to talk about it either. Only the sound of the moving square followed and an explosion.

CONTROLS - A

I see no reason to take points off for controls as there is nothing wrong with them. It is easy to navigate and get around the game. All you do is flip a square and set flags where you think the bomb is going to be.

GAMEPLAY - B

There are only a total of 9 games and they all vary by size and difficulty. Which you are given a choice of Easy, Normal, and Hard Mode and Small, Medium, and Large. The difficulty factor is no joke unlike your average game of Minesweeper which automatically makes your first square safe and randomized from there. Here, the stage is random from start to finish meaning you can even lose on your first square that is what ups the ante on the difficulty. Your goal here is to click a safe square and reveal a number. This number dictates how many mines are surrounding the block and you have to avoid turning over those mines.

REPLAYABILITY - A+

As crazy as these grades are that I have given, replayabiltiy tops every other category simply because it is super addictive as you try to come up with a strategy that will win you the game. You are told how many bombs are on the field beforehand then you try to figure out where to put the flag to mark where the mine is without setting too many flags. During larger games, just think about whether or not if you set a flag there will it contradict another nearby flag based on the nearby number.

OVERALL - C

As I said before, this game is might be a turnoff if you are trophy hunting but it should not be a deference. It is free after all but highly addictive which is why I scored this game directly in the middle because it has both its good qualities and its bad qualities but can grow on you quickly.
