My favorite show as a kid growing up with Ren and Stimpy.  That cartoon was way too advanced for me as a small child but I enjoyed the hijinx and the jokes and the animation.  I watch it now much more entertained.  But it's something I grew up on.

What was your favorite tv show or cartoon that you remember watching as a little kid?

I used to love ren and stimpy, I remember my dad coming in smelling like weed and cracking up with us.  I think there is just to many good shows from back then its hard to choose, but if I had to I would probably pick the batman animated series.

my favorite tv shows were the dukes of hazard, knight rider and the bugs bunny and tweety show I remember bugs bunny used to come on every saturday evening for one hour and was divided into two parts which were both half an hour each and although I don,t remember what days dukes of hazard or knight rider used to come on I do remember watching them and although they made new versions of both these movies since to me the original ones are better

I think that the answer is quite obvious: Dragon Ball. It was so famous already back then that I could enjoy it twice: a regional channel offered it in Catalan dub and a local channel offered it in Spanish dub.

I have glimpses of TV shows in my memory, but they all belong to that regional channel I've mentioned and thus they weren't precisely "mainstream". I also have glimpses of other animated series, but to this day I've been unable to find them anywhere.

And well, not sure where would you put the age gap for little kids, but I think I could throw in Yu-Gi-Oh! as well. It's like the best Spanish dub we've ever got in an anime series, and Nick(elodeon) was such an awesome channel to watch. I remember once when the episode aired with no audio, and when they cut it to try to solve the issue, they showed the following message, literally: "at this time, the sound technician is being chastised by our superiors. We'll be back when they're done."

I actually grew up watching Three's Company, which wasn't a kids show at all but I loved it so much. It's like the 70's and 80's version of shows like Friends and Everybody Loves Raymond.

I loved it so much that I even became a huge fan of the son of the actor.
