Slide Cannons are green cannons that are attached to those platforms that go in and out in Sting Chameleon’s stage. Since they’re cannons, they’ll try to shoot at X. The platforms in question are pretty much required to progress through the stage, so destroying these cannons are a must unless you want to tank damage and use invincibility frames. Or you can wall jump, but some situations in the level doesn’t exactly make wall jumping a viable solution.

The only stage they appear in is Sting Chameleon’s stage. Which makes sense, since those specific platforms also only appear in that stage.
