Whenever I click F8 like it says to record nothing happens.

   At about 1am I decided to record some gameplay for a new Let's Play series for my youtube channel. I choose to record some Super Mario RPG for SNES. Yet, when I clicked F8 while playing with the Mednafen emulator nothing happened. I tried it with Super Mario Bros and a couple of  GBA games with no luck. I also looked through my pc to see if any new files showed up after clicking the button but coming up fruitless. Am I messing up somewhere?

really doesn't matter since medanfen recording takes a lot of computer space, try another recorder like Active presenter.
