Sonic the Hedgehog - A game better left on the Genesis
Sonic the Hedgehogs grand start on the Genesis was amazing, with great music. But then Sega had the bad idea to port it to the Game Gear.THE GRAPHICSOkay, first of all, the environments are pretty good - You can even compare parts to the Genesis, but this is rare. Besides that, graphics are sadly average, with generic blue skies, sometimes changing color. Overall, they get a pleasant 8.THE SOUNDI was already worried about the sound when "SEEEGAAAA" blasted through my speakers in EXTREMELY low quality. The music and sounds are basically 8 bit ports of the Genesis sounds, only the spin dash noise is MUCH more higher pitched. So, it gets a good 7.THE STORYThe story is average, and a bit bland. Once again, Dr Robot- <COUGH, COUGH> Egg man is trying to kidnap all the animals for his "botniks" and Sonic must free them. The story gets a Too Bad to be True 1.THE DEPTHThis game is actually pretty big. You could if you are a skilled player beat this in a day, however, it would be a FULL day or at least a few hours. There otherwise isn't much to do, just go through the adventure and enjoy it. Depth gets a 9.THE DIFFICULTYThis game is a hard game the first time you play it. It really is. I got a Game Over on the 2nd zone. No, not the 12th. The 2nd. So if you want a good challenge, try this.Overall I would give this a 6.6. If you are a Sonic fan, this will be RIGHT up your alley. Otherwise, stay away.6.6 : Okay

A definite truckin' good time.
This game is a heck of a lot of fun! Seriously. I will first tackle the graphics.
Okay, the graphics are very well done! The cars are faithfully rendered for that time. You have a birds eye view of the road, unlike the modern Big Rigs. It looks and feels much better with a birds eye view, in my opinion. Otherwise, there rally isn't much more to say about the graphics.
Sound:
Okay, the sound was ear piercing in this one. I'm sorry, the loud "BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP" when you begin running out of fuel is terrible. And wow, it's just, bleck. I suggest if you want to play this game, keep your speakers down unless you are a diehard sound fan.
Replay Value & Addictiveness:
Well, I gave it a 6 because, well, it really doesn't have much replay value, since it's like an arcade game. Though, I might play it from time to time if you consider addictiveness important too.
Story:
There is hardly any story. Instead, you are a truck driving going around. I only gave it a one because it does have a bit of story. You are a truck driver driving around. Right? Some may not consider it a story, but I do. A small one, for that matter.
Depth: Wow, this game hardly has depth at all. You are just someone trucking around, and the gameplay is never varied.
Difficulty :
Not very difficult. You are driving the same road over and over, dodging cars, and then you repeat.
Overall, an 8.8.
