On Tuesday, 5/31/2016, from 4 - 7 PM (central time zone) we'll all be listening to and rating the songs submitted to the TurboGrafx Music Competition. Shortly before each song finishes, I'll give users a link to where they can rate each song and the song submitters get points for any rating above a 3 (out of 5).

I will be hosting this event on my Twitch channel and I'll be giving away a total of 250,000 Viz and $250 worth of Steam Games. The more songs you rate, the higher your chances are of winning a raffle after the stream is over. Each rating you make during the stream is basically another entry in the raffle. There will be literally 100s of steam games that winners will be able to pick from.

If you can only show up for a little while that's fine.

Recreating the forum pages from the ground up using the new site code was a bigger project than I had expected and took a lot longer but it turned out far better than I had planned and I ended up doing even more with it than I originally planned. Lieutenant Vicktz recently launched his own rom site becoming the first Vizzed affiliated site to use the RGR Plugin. The purpose of his website is to provide users a simple way to play game roms that they own on their computer in the browser without having to configure anything. It'll also allow anyone who has already played a game on Vizzed to continue playing that same game on his website and it'll even load their save files as long as they're logged into Vizzed.

The site can be found here:

It's still in development and is currently limited to certain systems but he'll work on adding stuff to it depending on how much traffic it gets.

If anyone else has their own website that they'd like to use the RGR Plugin on, feel free to contact me and we can work something out.

I'm giving anyone who wants access to play PlayStation games on Vizzed an opportunity to earn the PlayStation item. Normally you'd have to spend 50,000 Viz for the PlayStation item in the Item Shop in order to get access to the nearly 2500 PS1 games that Vizzed has available.

Here's how this will work. Send me 5000 Viz and I'll let you "rent" the PlayStation item for 1 month. If you do any of the below requirements, you get to keep it!

There are a few reasons why I can't give every user access to PlayStation games but the primary reason is that it'd suck up a lot of bandwidth and bandwidth usage costs me money. The server fees for this site and for hosting the PS1 games is already expensive and PS1 games are pretty large in file size (10-20 times larger than N64 games). So the best way to limit how many users are playing PS1 games is by unfortunately forcing users to earn it.

Requirements to Keep it:
-Write 3 Reviews of PS1 games of at least 2000 Words (should have good spelling/grammar)
-Write 6 Reviews of PS1 games of at least 1000 Words (should have good spelling/grammar)
-Do 15 hours worth of PS1 netplay multiplayer with other users
-Stream 20 hours worth of PS1 games to Twitch or Hitbox *
-Stream 10 hours worth of PS1 games while netplaying with other users *
-Submit 10 hours worth of PS1 gameplay videos to the Vizzed YouTube Channel (should have little idle time)
-Take a total of 120 screenshots among 12 different PS1 games (screenshots should be unique from each other)
-Write 2 Walkthroughs for PS1 games of at least 2,500 Words each
-Write 1 Walkthrough of at least 5,000 Words for a PS1 game
*You'll have to give me proof by archiving your stream videos. You'll also have to make sure that Vizzed.com is being advertised in both the stream video and the stream page itself.

If you want to do a combination of more than 1 option from the above list, let me know and we can work something out. If you want a suggestion on which one to pick then I'd suggest the 'Stream 10 hours worth of PS1 games while netplaying' since that's probably the quickest one to do and also because I would like to see more users netplaying PS1 games, especially since there are just so many good multiplayer games for the system.

Vizzed has gone through a lot over the past few months. Nintendo had me take down 100s of their games, Vizzed was temporarily flagged by Google and the site's traffic and revenue have taken some big drops. I just wanted to take this time to say Thank You to those who have stuck around and stayed loyal to Vizzed during this time!

I also want to say thanks to everyone who supported the site in various ways during this time either by donating, continuing to add content to the site, helping me advertise the site and by simply coming here every day.

But I feel like saying thanks isn't good enough though. You all have invested so much time into this site and have given so much to this awesome community so I wanted to take this opportunity to give back to the community by offering everyone who is interested a free steam game. I've been buying steam game codes for well over a year and it's time to start putting some of them to use.

All you have to do is respond to the below thread letting me know which steam game you want (1 per a user) and I'll try and send you the code within 24 hours.
