Pokémon green I believe is the first Pokémon game. Only released in Japan this version was translated to English. I heard that Pokémon green did not sell well in Japan I'm not sure if its true but if the original Pokémon greens grammar is anything like the translation I know why it did not sell well. The grammar is so bad in this game that it makes it harder to play. Either the person who did the translation or Nintendo was lazy and did not care. I'm sure it was the person who did the translation as all of the other Nintendo Pokémon games are awesome.
graphics where good for its time. (of course over the years we have gotten better at making games and will continue to do so but considering that Pokémon green was the first Pokémon game ever I find the graphics surprising good I will rate the graphics a seven)
when you play this game the old sounds being up good memories of a time long gone. The classic sounds are the same as Pokémon red and Pokémon blue making the over all game play much better. I will rate the sound for this game a nine.
addictiveness... yes I would play this game again but not as much as some other the other Pokémon games. Mostly because of the poor grammar and name changes for Pokémon people and towns. As much as a love Pokémon I can sadly only give this game a six.
The story is good but not great like the other games. Once again the poor grammar makes it very hard to keep track of a story. A part from the poor grammar the story is just like Pokémon red and Pokémon blue and is the very classic kanto tale. If nor for the poor grammar I would have given this game a seven but because of the poor grammar I will only give this game a six.
Depth the game was pretty big for its time though not quite as big as Pokémon red and Pokémon blue. A Pokémon's nickname could only have five spaces for letter... Read the rest of this Review

Pokémon yellow an old classic! I was to young to play when it first came out but now since I am older I can play the Rom! Your starter Pokémon is pikachu, like ash in the Pokémon anime. The classic red blue story with a few twists makes this a great game!
overall rating 9.4
graphics 10 great for its time
Sound 10 the old Pokémon music is classic and calming suits the game perfectly!
addictiveness 8 will defiantly play again to good to forget about!
story 7 great story takes me back to the old days of Pokémon.
depth 7 this game has a lot to offer. Takes a bit of time to complete.
difficulty 7 easy for players who have played many Pokémon games like myself harder for new players but not impossible.
Pokémon yellow is well worth you time! A great game for all players

I like this game! You start out with your choice of three strong psychic Pokémon. I picked mewtwo as my starter. The first battle is very hard for mewtwo because of the type match up, but after a few turns the foe Pokémon flees! So in the end its not really a big deal. Your first few levels will be hard to gain due to the high levels of the wild Pokémon. After you gain the levels the game is a breeze! The story is the same as ruby so if you played that game that makes this game even easier to beat!
