Touhoumon World Link: Emerald Hack/Rom KiramiDiscord
The Touhoumon Series is a collection of Hack/Roms by Aichiya Sanae based off of the Pokemon R.S.E. (Ruby Sapphire Emerald) that replaces the Pokemon with creatures known as Boneka, or the Youki from the Touhou series. They each have multiple forms, the most basic of which is C. From C they evolve into their regular forms (I.E CReimu evolves into Reimu) From that regular form they evolve into their EXform, also known as E (Reimu evolves into EReimu at LVL-36) and finally, E evolves into L, but only by trading them with a Last Tag equipped.
The story starts in the Region of Hoenn (As it should) but then later expands outward into Kanto, and then Johto region, and finally into Aichi, a region unique to the Touhoumon series. However, the difficulty in battle has gone up quite a bit, due to the Gym Leader's usual type set being completely out of whack. (A lot of Gyms use Flying/Dark quite frequently) This can be rather annoying, but once you figure it out, it's easily dealt with. The entrance to the Elite Four is no longer in the Region of Hoenn, and is now located in the Kanto Region, which can only be accessed if you have obtained the JX-Pass from a person in what was Petalburg City. Once the pass is obtained, you can reach Kanto by speaking to a sailor in what was known as Dewford.
Several Vocaloid characters make an appearance in the game, possessing unusually high stats. The game however, does give you access to one pretty early on. Team Aqua and Team Magma still play a key part in the game, trying to awaken each of their respected Ancient Boneka. As a forewarning, the underwater mazes are now much more difficult to navigate, and take much more time to find. This may aggravate you, and a proper walk-though for this part is hard to find. Eventually it will come to you.
All in all, this is one of my favorite Hack/Roms, and it is annoying yet addictive and incredibly expansive all at the same time. It is well deserving of the high rating, despite my many frustrations.

Pokedanmaku Dualage
This Pokémon Rom hack features little characters from a franchise known as Touhou. In this game, they are called Boneka and the same rules apply to that of Pokémon Emerald. However, there are minor differences like the addition of the Kanto region and the original "Java" region. With its insane difficulty, you'll spend hours grinding yourself to death on Boneka that have all new types and move sets (all 17 types are the same and some moves have been slightly modified, but nothing too bad of a change).
Each Boneka has a different "form" which changes every evolution. Either is be C (Chibi) or E(Ex) or even L(Last Word), they all vary and all have different aspects for you to find out.
I won't go too far in-depth of how difficult the game is, but I can at least say that once you hit the Java region; GOOD LUCK. You will find that you will be using your restore items or Pokémon centers A LOT if you're not too careful. If for whatever reason you want to ask why it's so hard, look up Touhou game play on "Lunatic" difficulty and you will see the comparison.
Now, as for graphics, the sprites are SUPREME. Every sprite is beautifully done and for the designer to sprite 400+ AND their shiny counter-parts, which is about 400 more (re colors aren't that hard, I know, but give him credit for doing it almost 400 times), is just immaculate. I guarantee you will also be in awe when you see these, they are just that good.
Let's talk about the music. Most of the music you will hear will be arrangements of the original Touhou games (For Windows and PC-98). For the most part, they are very well done. However, there is one problem I have. The volume NEEDS to be toned down. As much as I love any touhou theme and arrangements, I shouldn't have to play with the music blaring, prioritizing over the sound effects by twofold. It was nice to hear it, but the necessity of its sheer volume is zero. This is the very reason why I gave the sound a lower score.
Now the reason I put story as 6 is because it's just Emerald + slight add-ons that makes it just a tiny bit different from the actual game. These add-ons are primarily the Java region and Kanto. However, I do not include this into the overall rating only because it's a mod that uses Emerald's plot, just as older Touhoumon games had used FireRed's plot.
Another important piece to note is that a few type match-ups have been changed. One significant one is that Psychic CAN hit Dark, however its Not very effective. A second one I can remember is that Water is no longer super effective against rock. I do not know the reasoning for these changes, however, I won't complain because it does change it up a bit.
Lastly, you will find the starters to be lack-luster in conjunction to their types, however they become MUCH better as you progress. Think of an exponential curve in terms of usefulness. That's the way I saw it anyways.
Overall, one of the best and most difficult Rom hacks. I recommend to anyone who's an Otaku/anime-fan (Yes, I know Touhou isn't an anime. Just putting this disclaimer here so I don't have to hard it ^_^'') or just wants to try a random Rom hack with all new "Pokémon" and a large sense of difficulty. And touhou fans; well, touhou fans who have yet to play this Rom hack.
