Really awesome ag18078
I really enjoy this game. It reminds me of my Red cartridge (which has the battery dead, and I can't save on), but also has that factor of newness. I think that, if you like all three starters, you should take Dratini, as you get Eevee later on, and the Mew Glitch is operational on here.
Directions for the Mew Glitch: (Hey, everyone is a noob sometime)
1. Go to the grass to the left of nugget bridge, while still avoiding the gaze of the trainer there. Also make sure the trainer with the Slowpoke is accessible.
2. Catch yourself an Abra. Shouldn't be awfully hard if you started out with Mew (and teach her thunder wave) or Dratini.
3. Go to where you are in front of the trainer in the patch of grass where you caught Abra, BUT DO NOT LET HIM SEE YOU.
4. SAVE, as you cannot once this glitch goes into progress.
5. Step down, then immediately hit the button that is your menu button (enter by default).
6. Choose Teleport from Abra.
7. Fight the kid with the slowpoke, and make sure you win.
8. Go the route back to Nugget Bridge.
9. The start menu will pop up. Disregard it, and do not save.
10. Fight, and preferably capture, Mew.

A good game joshman08
Overall this is a pretty easy game.
At first I wasn't sure about having Mew as a starter Pokémon but as the game progressed I enjoyed it. Also I like how you can get Charmander, Squirtle and Bulbasaur really early in the game. As far as difficulty goes this game is pretty easy. Your Pokémon level up really quickly which can be both beneficial and annoying as it makes the game easier yet takes out the fun that comes from a really close Pokémon battle. Might not be to everybody taste but for those who like the original Pokémon games yet fancy something a little different this game is perfect. Overall I've given this game a 9.3 rating because it's entertaining throughout

Pokemon Generations... worth playing? Sillybop1
Pokémon generations is an incredible Rom hack of Pokémon Red and I have poured countless hours into this game already and it almost feels like a main-stream Pokémon game. From the slight adoption to the story and being able to access parts of Kanto early to level up your Pokémon with ease just feels like a great change than going on a fixed route round the Kanto region. All in all, it's a great game to play and sure there may be haters of the game but I can see why they might not like the game as much as I. Needless to say, I can recommend this game to anyone who would like a nice change of pace to the original games, then this is the game for you! You don't have to play it but I totally recommend you at least have a little look. I mean who doesn't want a Mew for a started?!
