Omae Wa Mou Shindeiru... Boured

"ATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATAT......WATA!!!!!!!!"

This is the battle cry of the savior of the Earth that is now a barren wasteland. What you say that the Earth is fine well that may be true......in your world but in another that is a completely different story. In another world mankind finally destroys what it worked so hard to create with the method being Nuclear Warfare, This devastated the Earth leaving it a shell of it's former self while almost extinguishing all life on earth save for the humans who managed to survive the disaster. With there old way of life gone humans fought the strong taking what was the wanted while the weak had to cower in fear. But one man has been called the savior, a man that protects the weak, a man who has mastered an old art of assassination, a art that is used to destroy someone from the inside. What is this power you ask it is the old art of Hokuto Shinken, with this art one is able to use 100% of the potential of their body where as we would use only 30% and a master at Hokuto Shinken is a master at pressure point knowledge since that is a masters main method of attack. Such pressure points result in instant death while others make it so anything you touch will cause extreme pain. Now who is this man I was speaking about you ask, Well that would be the one and only successor to Hokuto Shinken Kenshiro. Now you have many ways to glance into this world of which this way of life has become standard, like what you people call Manga, or Anime. But we are taking a look at another way to glance into this world a way that allows you to take control of the savior Kenshiro himself, yes my newly acquainted friend we are taking a look at the video game Fist of the North Star so let us begin shall we?

Graphics:Now you like good graphics correct they make the experience more realistic to you correct so you must be wondering how are the graphics in this game. Well the graphics are nothings to write home about they are generic and not very appealing. For starters Kenshiro the man you take control of does not show his face. You may be thinking maybe it is because he is looking towards the countless enemies in front of him. Until you realize that all the characters whether it be Kenshiro or the enemies have no face. To add the frosting to the cake one of the enemies has pants that are the same color as the ground making his pants almost invisible save for it's outlines that always strikes me as odd. Adding to that is that the graphics of the background are not that good either it is just a interesting shade of blue with grey buildings in the background. Finally the Buildings in the foreground look like they have been glitched out it is a wonder that they are still standing I think they were trying to make it look like it was damaged but they overdid it a bit. Now what about Kenshiro does he have good animations well....yes he does he punches at a fast rate like he should it does not look like he is choppy at least to me and he walks very fluently so at least the developers did something good. So anyway besides Kenshiro the Graphics are not that good compared to the other games on the machine that this game comes from that is why I am going to give it a 5 out of 10 due to it being just generic for your system.

Sound:Now how is the sound in this game you may ask this too makes it seem more realistic to you. Now compared to other games on your system this game uses they are not good at all in terms of BGM but in terms of SFX it is great. Now let's look at the BGM first it is a very annoying loop that is very near going to drive you insane unless you mute it somehow. In fact I had to take a 20 minute break from this game just to have to not listen to the BGM yes it is that annoying. Now as for the SFX let's look a Kenshiro when he punches or kicks he makes a little sound that sounds like his battle cry now to me that is a nice little detail that has earned some praise from me so good job developers for that little detail this won't cover up your blunder with the music but it is going to earn you some praise. Also when you hit someone with a kick it makes a sound you would expect a hit to do, but if you punch him the enemy will do another sound before his untimely demise which I will cover in the gameplay. So ultimately the sound in this game is bad save for a few little sound details in there that stop me from giving it a 1 so with the details in mind I give the sound a 4 out of 10 still bad but not as bad as it would have been if they had not put those in there.

Gameplay: Now to you the gameplay is what matters correct I will tell you that the gameplay is actually pretty good and is the greatest strength this game has. You see when you first start the game you are on a menu but isn't that what most games start off with right? Upon pressing start you are greeted with the selection of 1 or 2 players this strikes me as odd I would understand 1 player but how would 2 players work I had no one to help me test this out so you may want to test this out on your own so my sincerest apologies. Well as for 1 player you are thrusted to a status screen showing Kenshiro kicking rapidly making his battle cry while a message saying "KEN LEFT" followed by the number 3 is seen telling you how many lives you currently have. After that message you are dropped into the game where your job of the game is to basically kill everything that moves buy using your punching and kicking moves and in certain situation turning the enemies weapon against them. When you kick a enemy it launches him off the screen in a quick fashion never to be seen again after that or at least that person is never. Now if you punch someone he stops doing a animation similar to exploding from the inside which is Kenshiro's main method of killing in the Manga and Anime while making a weird sound before promptly exploding with a satisfying 8-Bit boom. The gameplay is very good and the controls respond really well which are very nice making the gameplay even more great. So overall the gameplay of this game is really fun if you give it a chance even if hearing do his battle cry every time you punch and kick get's annoying after awhile so for that I am giving the gameplay a 7 out of 10.

Addictiveness: How addictive is this game you may ask me well it's not that addicting. With the graphics being not that great to the music that makes me want to slam my head against a wall the only thing that I think would make it addicting is the gameplay which is the strongest thing this game has like I said back in the Gamplay section. So it is up to you whether it is addictive or not It may be addictive as heck to some but for the mass majority it is not addicting that much. So overall it is not very addicting at all so the addictiveness get's a 2 out of 10 not very good if I say so myself.

Story: Now your asking how is the story is it good or is it bad please tell us? That is a simple question with a simple answer.....there is no story whatsoever. Now it was normal to have a game without much of a story but the least they could have done is put like a line of text telling us the story but no this game does not have any story it just plops you onto the ground and all you do is punch and kick enemies with no goal whatsoever. I for one like a good story it gives me reason behind my actions and why I am doing why I'm doing if no one knows the story than how are we supposed to know what the heck we are doing if we have not read the Manga nor the Anime. This is by far one of the games biggest flaws at least to me it might not matter to you and that's fine but it does to me so overall there is no story so it is safe to say that my rating is a 1 out of 10.

Depth: Now on to what this game has to offer us well the whole gameplay section above is all there is to offer the whole game as far as I know is just beating the crud out of enemies for infinity with not reason. There is no secrets as far as I'm aware of and no cheats either this is also another one of it's faults a way to add depth to this game would be to at least add bosses but it does not do this not at all actually it's just the same enemies over and over again and we can all agree that it get's pretty boring after awhile when the same things are coming at you over and over again right? So overall the depth is bad it gives you everything from the start and has nothing else to do beside kill the same enemies over and over which gets very boring after awhile so that is why I'm giving the Depth as 1 out of 10 I mean come on they could have at least added a boss now and then right?

Difficulty: Now how difficult is the game everyone likes a great challenge but if you want one do not play this game because this game is probably the easiest game I have ever seen. I mean not many things appear and when they do they despawn after you leave there line of view and if you continuously walk nothing will spawn on your right side and all you need to worry about is what is on your left side oh did I say worry I mean decimate everything on the left side. Even if the enemies show up in different colors they all die in 1 hit only 1. Also to add the final nail on the coffin I do not know if this is a glitch or not which it probably is your lives do not matter because when your life is fully gone it loops back to full basically making you invincible further making this easy as all heck. It makes me sad of how easy this game is at least to me but if you like seeing everything you touch die and you being invincible then this is nothing to worry about for you so good for you. So overall this game is incredibly easy and with the possible glitch of the looping health bar makes this game no challenge to you whatsoever so for that I give the game a difficulty rating of 1 out of 10 again it is very easy.

Conclusion: This game has annoying music, generic graphics, is way too easy, and has no depth whatsoever but that does not mean it is completely bad I mean the gameplay is very good compared to the other parts of the game and that is very good because generally I like the gameplay as much as I like the story so it saves it from being a very terrible game so overall I give this game a 6 out of 10 because of the gameplay alone being very good at least for me.

Fist of the north star review wierdooooooooooo
This game is an abomination of all games ever.Its still better than cheetah men but it still sucks.Difficulty in this game is worst than all hell.There are knifes and other objects trying to kill you.The depth in this game is weird and sucks.Whwn you hit an enemy he screams and blows into chunks and level just repeat over and over.No story found for this waste.No addictiveness,trust me.The music loops the same song for the whole game.The graphics are horrible because its depressing and the characters have no faces.In conclusion,I would love to see a fight between this game and the cheetah men.But the real conclusion is never waste your time on this huge piece and play other games.
