You Must Be This Tall to Ride Jack   classgame
So it is January 6th you are probably looking at this review right now thinking “Why aren’t you active in the review department in this Tour de Vizzed? I thought this was your secret weapon” well the last tour nearly wiped me out (not to mention I am starting to run out of review ideas despite the fact that several games have been added to the STEAM pile, but I’m also going to push for the BSC 3rd Grade game though I won’t have a lot to say), I’m starting to have problems trying to hammer out a thousand words per review and it’s January, I have to be at work three days a week, that also takes up time, and it will be cold, I would be spending a lot more time at home but due to circumstances beyond my control that also included me losing so many projects and screenshots from the last tour back in the Summer, I have to start those over (including a monthly screenshot upload just to make sure the function is still working) and since the screenshot uploads was workable for me again I had decided that I would be using this tour to focus on actions rather than Words (and so far it's working in my favour) even though I would love to win the Yellow Jersey, besides the Green Jersey is really hard to get (I wrote this review in advance before the tour started)
Gameplay and Story: So we kind of have a new format for this game and contrary to the title being the ride there isn’t really a ride to speak of except the elevator that would take us to the floor of the game and it’s kind of the format that we’re stuck with from here on out,(written before I played The Lost Gold, no I will not review that this tour), the episodes have a theme and all the questions for each episode will be relevant to the theme of the episode, from now on the questions are random (we don’t pick from a set of three per question) it’s more like a random picker wheel situation and so are the dollar amounts, we can pick them though but however it’s kind of complicated, instead of the questions being worth between $1k-$6k it’s very random, like the point value can even be less than $1k. Also, for a first we have all the previous hosts of the games (minus Bob from Headrush but I don’t really consider that to be canon in the YDKJ-verse) But the producer is insisting that all the hosts of the game are supposed to be taking turns but Cookie is having none of that (like in episode 2 it’s supposed to be well Buzz but he goes through a trapdoor that leads to the bottom floor of god knows where this is located)
Graphics: So they’ve ditched the old cookie cutter format of what we had in the last several entries however they did get an upgrade mostly for the elevator scene...you’ll see when I start taking screenshots for the game they did that for the Dis or Dat and there's a new type of font for fill in the blank and gibberish questions (the font is reminiscent of those old label makers)
Soundtrack: They have brand new commercials and they’ve added some songs to the game, including a love song dedicated to a cow....it’s actually good I kind of like it. We don’t really have segue grooves this time around but it’s not really needed here. (yeah sound will get extra points for the songs)

Addictive: It’s on the same level of addictiveness as the previous entries, I kind of like the new games (more on that in a bit) however this has proven to be a fun entry in the series, but I don’t exactly appreciate when they can’t afford constantans or just give me I’s or the Head Cheese thing when I enter my name, (or when I get the language I get some stupid name like Polyglot) I was actually shocked when I found out that it worked on my mother’s windows 10 computer but I didn’t try and play it...again I will explain at the end of the month
Depth: Things are different this time around, if we say we are new to the game then no matter what we type Seven Question Game or Twenty-One question game we’ll end up with a 13 question game. We also have a couple of new mini games one of them is bingo, not like the traditional bingo format but....think the bridge game in Secrets of the Cryptkeepers Haunted House (yeah it’s kind of an obscure Children’s game show it premiered after the Kids game show boom kind of went bust...I mean you know it’s over when Hidden Temple and Carmen Sandiego end in the same year), the other is roadkill where you have to match two things that have something in common with something on the road, and then after you get like 7 or something you have to figure out what they all have in common in order to win the amount you got right. From what I understand there are 58 episodes to do but I got that from a youtube user that had played it all, in the summer I only have two months to play, before COVID I would start gaming season as soon as the Jets and all the Canadian teams were eliminated from the playoffs but like I just said COVID changed that
Difficulty: Well I have said this about the other Jack games but you have to know your trivia really well in order to do well at this, and that’s probably why I will never play You Don’t Know Jack Sports because I am not good at Sports trivia at all even if everything is before 1996
Post review Follow up: Okay so I don’t really have a physical copy of this game what happened what well, let’s just say I do the craziest things when I’m upset and well what had happened back in august resulted in me burning a copy of the game from the internet archive (I really do want my own physical copy though because I don’t like having to take out that special drive that I use for burned discs, maybe I’ll explain in my end of the Tour Storytime thread (yeah I’ve given it a name) that I normally do because I don’t really have a relevant gaming topic that’s percolating in my mind this time around
This concludes my review, join me later when I review Bareknuckle 3
