Another PopCap Classic classgame
So once again we find ourselves in the PopCap files, where popular downloadable games of the past come to light and I have to replay them, granted I didn’t need to replay Insaniquarium because my memories of playing the game are strong enough for me to not have to do a replay, but some of the other ones needed that necessity.
Gameplay and Story: The Game is a sequel to Peggle, except it takes place at night and we get to see what the instructors dream about when they break out of their comfort zones like for example the radical rodent, he dreams of being a scientist, Cat tut dreams of being a daredevil, etc. And as for gameplay it’s the same idea as the first game, you hit all the orange balls on screen, hit the green balls to get an enhancement to help you (like multiball or some kind of weird laser thing, there are also flippers that look like crab claws and they work like pinball game flippers to make the ball keep going) Hit the purple balls and you get bonus points, clear a ramp shape in one go and the radical rodent shows up, finish the level with more than 5 balls remaining and you'll "Ace" the course.
Graphics: They are about the same as the previous game, not much difference.
Sound: It has very nice sounds to hear once you’ve hit fever pitch and when you hit certain balls, and once you’ve hit the last orange peg we are treated to Ode To Joy.
Depth: We actually have a new character instructor but I didn’t go far enough in the game to remember (I think it was an Octopus), there are 5 levels per stage, and many many instructors to play with many enhancements.
Difficulty: it starts off easy and then it gets harder like we need more replays harder.
Post Review Follow-up: Okay now I’m really getting tired, but I’m not going to quit doing these I said I would do 31 days worth of reviews and I meant it.
This concludes my review, join me tomorrow when I review........Cluefinders Mystery Mansion Arcade. Well this will be fun, and I really mean it because I'll have alot to say.
