I will be honest and say I have never even heard of half of these people. But my favorite streamer I consistently watch when I have the chance would be trixz2007. Great guy who does a lot of different games and really listens to his viewers. My favorite Youtubers right now would be danisnotonfire and AmazingPhil. They are both hilarious and British, which shouldn't matter but the accent is cool. They actually have their own gaming channel together DanAndPhilGAMES and it's pretty fun to watch. Other than those I don't really watch many streamers or youtubers, but I will pop in on a few that I see online from here and check them out if I have the time. I actually came up with this username quite a while ago while playing some online game I can't remember the name of now, and I doubt anyone still plays it. Anyway I was a monk on the game, always been a bit more of a healer or rouge on MMO's, and my friends always said I was a bit mad because I had the character set up where I could tank and heal. So I combined the two and got Madmonk. After that I just tagged my name on to the end and I ended up with MadmonkAdam. A little time later when I first used the new username, a friend told me that seemed a bit clunky so I added the underscore on websites that allowed it and a period on the ones that didn't. So now my standard username for any site is Madmonk_Adam or Madmonk.Adam. I have two others I use if it is taken but my main one is this one. I like the story behind it, and the name, since it does say something about the way I like to play and about me. I actually used to reread post at least a dozen times before even using the spell checker, because spell checker doesn't check grammar. It became a bad habit after it took me three hours to reply to a friend on a message board and they thought I was ignoring them since they could see I was online. So nowadays I will just do a quick once over and spell check before posting. Then later if I feel like I made a mistake I will go back and reread it, sometimes even when I don't feel like I made a mistake but just to be sure. I actually don't reread others post unless it's a topic I'm interested in or if it's an entertaining piece I want to re-familiarize myself with. I will reread others post on a topic I started though, just so I can make sure I am positive on what they meant so I can reply to them correctly and honestly. So had a good day. Christmas dinner was good with plenty of food and desert. Tried out some candied jalapeños on cream cheese as a dip, which was pretty good. Nana gave me her recipe for pumpkin pie so that I can make it next year so I have a year to practice in making it right. Lily had a great time and really got into the football game. She got some new clothes and a few teething rings and a new pacifier. I got a new watch and wallet, some socks, a Rangers long-sleeved shirt, a new memory card for my Gamecube, some peanut butter pretzels, and The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker for my Gamecube. Got to see some family members I haven't seen in a while and watch a football game with my favorite little girl and Papa Jim. Afterwards we went driving around looking at all the Christmas lights, which sadly there weren't as many as there used to be when I was a kid. Just got home and getting ready for bed, been a long day but enjoyable. So all in all was a great Christmas. So had a good day. Christmas dinner was good with plenty of food and desert. Merry Christmas everyone! It may only be about 1:15 am here but it's still Christmas. Anyway I'm doing some last minute gift wrapping and wanted to know how everyone was planning on spending Christmas. I happen to be headed over to my Nana's later for lunch/dinner and gifts. Going to be Lily's first Christmas so it will be fun and have some family coming in that we haven't seen in a while. So tell me what you're planning to do for Christmas or if you get on this later tell me how you spent Christmas! I'll Merry Christmas everyone! So today is my twenty-first birthday. However I literally have nothing to do until later tonight so I was looking for suggestions on ways to celebrate! All I have planned is my cousin taking me to a casino later tonight even though I don't like gambling. He spouted something about it being a good experience for me. Other than that I got nothing to do until six or seven when my cousin gets off work. So today is my twenty-first birthday. sonicthehedgehog57 : First of all thank you for the advice. I edited the review slightly to hopefully make this clearer by putting the scores next to the start of the section instead of at the end. You were correct in your guess, this was the first review I wrote and I am glad you enjoyed it. If you have any more advice I would enjoy it, constructive criticism is just as good as praise. Thank you for reading my review. Lycan212 : Thank you for the reply and reading my review. sonicthehedgehog57 : First of all thank you for the advice. I made a review for Final Fantasy XII that I believe meets your requirements. It currently does not have a featured review and here is the link: https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=81693
I also made a review of a hack of Pokémon Emerald called Pokémon Emerald 135. It also does not currently have a featured review and I believe it also meets your requirements. Here is the link: https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=82485 Thanks for considering them and let me know if they don't meet the requirements. Edit: Sorry it doubled up the links first time I posted. I made a review for Final Fantasy XII that I believe meets your requirements. So this is my review for Pokémon Emerald 135. Now my favorite era of Pokémon had to be Generation III despite the lack of Eevee and Eevee evolutions so I shall try to keep bias out of it. Graphics: So the graphics on the game are actually very good and the hacker didn't do much at all to change it from the original. For the GBA at the time the Pokémon games are actually in the top ten for graphics. The colors fit in well with the area, the characters aren't square or bloated or two dimensional, and you can differentiate between different characters based solely on how they look and it matches the anime and manga versions of the people. It is better than quite a few games for GBA that came out around the same time and I never once saw a graphical glitch in the game. The opening sequence is also very nice with the 10/10 Sound: I really enjoyed the sounds of the game and the hacker didn't change any sounds from what I have seen. However it doesn't take away from the score because of how great the original music is. The music always fits in well with what is happening. From the upbeat traveling sounds to the frantic battle music it really draws you in. The background sounds of Pokémon cries while in the grass really add to the game. The sounds inside caves also really fit in with the setting and the catchy tunes stick in your head. The sounds really made me feel like I was on my own Pokémon journey and travelling the gyms. The applause during Contest also really helps you know how well you are doing and gives a great feel to the game. 10/10 Addictiveness: Like all Pokémon games it is very addicting and the hacker actually added a bit to make it even more addicting. Emerald actually compounded onto this by adding more to do. Like most trainers I always try to catch all the Pokémon available. Mainly so I have a variety to choose from when facing certain gyms or the Elite Four. Trying to "catch 'em all" is surprisingly addictive. This hack actually helped in that area by making it possible to catch all 135 Pokémon in the Hoenn Pokedex. The game also offers a lot more than just a straightforward gym battle then elite four and champion game. Generation III is the first generation to add in contest for five categories, Tough, Smart, Cute, Cool, and Beauty. It was addicting trying to get the highest rank in each category and finding the right Pokémon with the right moves for the job. Emerald also added a whole new aspect in the Battle challenges from the battle domes to the battle tower and the battle frontier with varying challenges. I had a great time trying out each of them and doing my best to find the frontier brains and beat them. Of course it was a very straightforward game still with not much replay value to people who didn't want to try out everything or try out different team combinations. So the score gets hit a bit there. Still it is a very addicting franchise and Emerald added a lot when it came out. However I didn't like the fact that they cut out the Generation II addition of going back to the previous region and challenging those gyms. 7/10 Story: Sadly all Pokémon games lack in story and the hacker didn't improve on this at all. It's a sad fact but true. They focused on making everything else better and pretty much gutted the story portion. However Emerald does offer somewhat of a story. You are a plucky young trainer going on your Pokémon adventure and along the way you meet a mysterious stranger who's looking for strong trainers to compete in something big. You also have a dream of surpassing your father, a gym leader, who says that you may challenge him after you have collected four badges giving you a goal to chase. Then you have your neighbor, the son/daughter of the area professor who becomes your rival. Sadly your rival is a bit sub par who doesn't appear much and never gets the final evolution of their starter. Then there is the subplot of Team Magma and Team Aqua. In Ruby/Sapphire you fight only one of the teams but in Emerald you are up against both. The leaders of Team Magma and Team Aqua, Maxie and Archie respectively, are trying to resurrect the legendary Pokémon Groundon and Kyogre to expand either the land or the sea and it is up to you to stop them! The story, while not very great, also added to the game by drawing me in that much more. I found myself anticipating what would happen next and trying to guess on events to come. However the story still isn't that great and it's more like you keep running into Team Magma and Team Aqua instead of deliberately going against them. 5/10 Depth: There is actually a lot of depth in Pokémon games and the hacker did add on to this by making it possible to complete more of the game. From trying to complete the Pokedex, to the contest, and the Battle frontier there is a lot to do. There is also a bunch of hidden items and hard to get Pokémon and TM's, plus the addition to the safari zone after beating the Elite Four and Champion. The addition of Match call also added more by letting you fight trainers you had already beat again. I put in a considerable amount of time just trying to do everything possible and still haven't. There is easily a couple dozen worth of hours to just beating the gyms and Elite Four. Add in the rest and it could go from a couple dozen hours to over a hundred. With so much to do it is no wonder the Pokémon franchise has done great. The depth of the game also drew me in. I found myself scouring every patch of grass and the endless blackness of the caves to find all the Pokémon and items. Having a Zigzagoon/Linoone in the party also helped with the items with that handy pickup ability. And several abilities helped with finding those rare Pokémon. Like lightning rod making electric Pokémon appear more often. I also found myself training endlessly to level my Pokémon to beat the repeat battles and the battle frontier. 9/10 Difficulty: Since it is mostly straightforward most Pokémon games aren't that difficult and the hacker didn't do much to up the difficulty nor did the hacker do much to make it less difficult. However there are several things that make them harder. If you just try to coast through by only fighting what Pokémon and trainers you run into and don't spend anytime training you'll find many battles difficult and hard to get past. And trying to get past the Elite Four without training? Forget it. Finding all the Pokémon is also difficult since some are so rare there is only one to six of them. Take Feebas for an example, it only appears on six water panels in route 119 out of all of them. Getting through several of the post game challenges are also difficult. For example in one of the Battle Frontier areas you have to win several times before the Frontier Brain is even in the area and then you have to find and beat them. I found it mildly difficult, but not too hard since I took the time to train and catch a variety of Pokémon. So while it isn't too difficult it can be. 7/10 Overall: It is an amazing game with great graphics, awesome sound, a sub par but still good story, great depth and is decently addictive with mild difficulty. From the great colors and graphics to the realistic and catchy sounds, from the decent story and deceptively deep depth, and from the mild difficulty and strange addictiveness I don't think you'll find many reasons to not like the game. While I can understand and see some of its shortcomings it has many good points that more than make up for those shortcomings and the hacker helped in several of those good points but also didn't do anything about a few of the shortcomings. 8/10 So this is my review for Pokémon Emerald 135. Well I can't say that I actually know what you're going through since my parents divorced when I was really young so I don't remember it. However I would have to agree with everyone that's posted. You are not scum. The parents usually blame the kids in divorces and say hurtful things they don't mean. It's hard on them too so don't take what they say to heart, they don't mean it at all and I'm sure you'll get an apology soon. If not then I'm not sure what to tell you I haven't talked to my dad in ten years so I'm no help there. As for your friends they should be there for you. If they don't know what's going on then they can't help but if they do then they aren't being very good friends. Also they shouldn't have pestered you while you were in a bad mood. People always say things they don't mean and hurtful things while in bad moods. However that they wouldn't listen to your apology is on their heads. My advice, get some counseling it's not a sign of weakness, if your religious prayer usually helps, and find someone who you can crash on their couch for a few days while things simmer down. If they don't then you can always set up a donation fund or go to the red cross. I wish I could help but the best I can do presently is offer advice and give you someone to rant to. If you need anything let me know. Things may look bad now but they always get better. Never forget that, it gets better! Hope I helped at least a little bit. Personally I never had this talk with either of my parents. My father was never around and my mom worked two jobs and never had the time. That and since the town we lived in was so small there wasn't a sexual education class and they only went over it briefly in health. I actually had the talk with older female friends around the time I started puberty. My advice is to start talking to her about it either around the time she starts puberty, when she asks about it, or when she starts taking a health/sexual education class at school. As sad as it is people are having sex at earlier and earlier ages. From what I have seen schools usually start the sexual education classes in the early teen years from eleven to fourteen since that's about the age that teens are starting to have sex nowadays. It's important to cover all aspects about it as well from the physical side, the emotional side, the social side, and the health side. Make sure she understands the risks but don't frighten her by being an overprotective father. Not that that's a bad thing but as far as I've seen most girls will rebel when their father is too overprotective. Being an older brother with no father figure around I was too overprotective of my sister. She rebelled by going out with guys that she knew I didn't like even if she didn't like them herself. So being protective isn't a bad thing but being overprotective could wind up getting her hurt when that's what you're trying to prevent. Also, most teens respond better to complete honesty so don't try to hide or lie about anything important during the talk, it could also be detrimental to the seriousness of the conversation. So my advice is to be honest, don't lie or omit anything, it's ok to be protective but don't be overprotective, cover all aspects, make sure she understands the risks, and give her the talk in her early teen years from around the ages of eleven to fourteen. maguc : ah a Doctor Who fan! My favorite has to be the eleventh doctor. So what likes/dislikes do we share? Also thanks for the offer to help, I've already seen quite a few helpful people on here and gotten some advice on being an uncle so I can appreciate how helpful everyone is and how good the community is! You don't find many online communities that are as nice as this one, it's definitely the first one I've been to that is this helpful. That and the rules are a great help for that so you know the site staff know what they are doing. Getting off track sorry. More about me? My favorite TV show of all time would have to be Scrubs, my favorite anime would be One Piece, my favorite band would be either Linkin Park or 3 Doors Down, I already said my favorite football teams and favorite video game series, and my favorite movie would be Angels in the Outfield. maguc : ah a Doctor Who fan! Ok so hello all. My name is Adam, and I am twenty years old. My birthday is December eleventh and I turn twenty-one this year! I'm a Sagittarius, since I don't like the new zodiac sign they came out with. I enjoy the show Supernatural a lot, and my favorite series of video games is Legend of Zelda. I'm a bit high strung but I like to be lazy when it suits me. I'm currently out of work but looking for a job and I'm a new uncle! I like video games, most music, several dozen movies of various genres, a handful of TV shows, a few anime shows, a couple of book series, football (Go LSU Tigers, New Orleans Saints, and Houston Texans!), brownies, and the beach. I dislike arrogant people, some of the newer cartoons, romance novels, airplanes, and girls that put on makeup even though they look great without it. My hobbies include reading a good book while enjoying a glass of sweet tea, studying ancient Greek architecture, playing old Zelda games, going to the boardwalk, and playing with my niece. My dream is to run my own architecture firm or be a radiologist, have a wife and two kids, own a nice two story house with a white picket fence, maybe one or two dogs and a tree house for the kids, and be there for my kids that I eventually have unlike my own dad who wasn't there for me. That's me in a nutshell. So send me a message if you like, I always enjoy meeting new people. Ok so hello all. My name is Adam, and I am twenty years old. Thanks for all the advice. It has really helped a lot even though my sis won't let me change Lily's diapers because I'm male. warmaker : the black and white contrast and the faces are really fun for her and her smiles are adorable so thanks. She has tried to eat a book funnily enough and thanks for the advice on talking with real words instead of baby speak. GlazedKitten : The baby center did have a lot of information so thanks for the tip. Also Ganon has no power here, I have the Master Sword! thing1 : Interacting has helped and I do watch myself carefully and being myself around her is a bit hard since I'm a bit high strung and she's too young for me to be that active around her. But thanks for the advice. lisalo : I don't actually have a way to get to the classes at the moment but thanks for the tip. Also Lily stays in her mothers room and she doesn't like me touching her stuff so I can't help there as much as I'd like to. Thanks for all the advice. So what is your favorite movie that Jim Carrey starred in and why? Mine would have to be either Liar Liar or Bruce Almighty. I enjoyed Liar Liar for the family element and the irony that being unable to lie would most likely make the world stop spinning. I enjoyed Bruce Almighty for his struggle to get the girl he loves to love him back and the comedic element of a regular Joe getting all the powers of god and going a bit crazy with them. That and Morgan Freeman as god was just a great touch. So what is your favorite movie that Jim Carrey starred in and why? Mine would have to be either Liar Liar or Bruce Almighty. My little sister just gave birth to the most beautiful little girl in September. Her name is Lillian Pearl and I fell in love when I first held her. However, now I'm freaking out. For now my little sister lives with me and my mom and I have no idea at all how to help raise a baby. I want to be a good uncle and male role model for my little lily pad but I have no idea what to do or how to start. So if someone could give me a bit of advice it would be extremely helpful.
