Be careful with cup ramen. Those have insane amounts of sodium (1000+ grams per cup!) which can make you retain water!

Noobolicious: I wish there was a way to know which rapists are honestly sorry for what they did and swear to be rehabilitated, but what are the odds that the court system will do the work to root out the "good" ones? And how will anyone know if that man or woman is telling the truth? Is letting them free worth the possibility that they will destroy another innocent child?

My opinion may be biased, as my mother was raped, my grandma was molested as a girl, and my close friend was also molested as a child.

The fact is almost ALL rapists (especially child rapists) will rape again. The court systems usually don't bother sending them to a mental institution, so if these people can't be rehabilitated WHY let them back into society? If I had it my way, I would have most child rapists put to death, but I am fine with them being in prison for life (as I begrudgingly pay taxes for them to live day-to-day...) It is just WRONG to let these men and women out of prison after no counselling or hope for rehabilitation! It starts a terrible cycle. Most people are sexual predators because they were abused as children. When you let people out knowing there is a strong possibility that they will abuse more children, you may be creating more sexual predators. Not to mention: mental illnesses, PTSD, Stockholm syndrome, suicide, and a whole mess of a lot more problems. Letting serial rapists and child rapists out of prison is pretty freakin risky. Is letting them out of prison worth the destruction it might cause?

Noobolicious : I 100% support the legalization of prostitution. If prostitution was legal, prostitutes would feel safer to go to the police if they had been raped or brutalized. There are countries where prostitution is legal and the prostitutes are allowed to kick men out of brothels if they disrespected them, refused to wear a condom, had an STD, etc. So on that note, legalizing prostitution can also lower the spread of STDs. As long as the prostitution is between two consenting adults, why should anybody care? Also, as long as these men and women aren't hurting anybody, how does anybody have the right to tell them what to do with their body? And HOW does it make sense that porn is legal but not prostitution? That's pretty ridiculous. What, as long as sex workers are video taped, everything's okay? Weird.

I understand that prostitution makes a lot of people (including myself) uncomfortable. In fact, I am very opposed to putting a price on something as meaningful as sex because of my personal belief that sex is supposed to be special. But who am I to let my beliefs keep others from being safe or doing what they want with their body?

That is my opinion on the issue.

Light Knight : I'm sorry it is still troubling you. Perhaps he has some growing up to do. I'd say ignoring him is the best route, or just letting him be right. I've found with know-it-alls (like my uncle) they thrive on arguing and attention even if it is negative (hence troll bait). It might hurt to keep your mouth shut for a while, but it gets easier and when he notices he doesn't get any attention from you by acting that way maybe he will come to his senses. There is also the alternative of talking to him about how you feel. Best of luck to you!

I don't care what your hobby is, as long as:

1) you aren't hurting someone emotionally or physically
AND
2) the hobby has not consumed your life to where you no longer function in a healthy way and it has become less of a hobby and more of an addiction.

Annette : Luckily for me, I haven't had any trouble with people telling me to dress/look a certain way. Your situation is a tough one, though, so I understand why you feel conflicted. I don't know if I am in any place to offer relationship advice, but what's important to me is being with someone who wants what I want (for the most part). I don't have any piercings or tattoos, so if my boyfriend would only find me attractive if I had piercings and tattoos, I would consider that trait to ruin our compatibility. Also, you have to ask yourself how important piercings are to you. I'd say, if they are really important to you and you feel at a loss without them, he will have to either deal with it or find another girlfriend to put it plainly. People say relationships are about compromise, and I don't know what to say about that except some compromises are just unreasonable. Depends on what you want, girl!
