Spidey243 : Thanks! I finally got Sebulba episode one though, with Sebulba. Took a million boosts with L2 & R2, but I did it!

So I am trying to unlock Sebulba, Episode 1. I've been in tournament mode with regular Sebulba for a bit, but I am stuck on Carnuss (the dark, rainy track) & I can't get past 7th & 8th places. However, with Anakin, who I already beat tournament mode with, every track in first place, it's SO much easier, making me wonder if I did some "bad" upgrades when I upgraded Sebulba. Seems like my acceleration and speed suck on Sebulba, but I'm not entirely sure what happened.

Did I screw up my Sebulba to be honest? Is there any way to reverse this?

Thanks guys! No, it doesn't matter for me myself (except for the fact that she's my friend and I miss her while she's gone) but I was just wondering.

I just don't understand!!! On Instagram and Facebook, she sometimes posts photos of she and her family on vacation when she's supposed to be in class!

Like, a while back, she went back to her home state (we're in college) & she missed some class (I had class with her this past semester) & a couple of days before our final, she was in Chicago where her sister goes to school.

I just don't understand! I mean, I'd ask her myself but she hasn't responded to my last text and call & I don't wanna seem needy and bug her.

and I mean, doesn't she have school related obligations like class, exams, papers, etc.? And she's a nanny too. Like, how do you guys think she has time to do this during the semester?

I mean, people offer to take me places often, but I decline most times because I have other obligations!

Ghostbear1111 : I don't know if I told you the back story about her (I told lots of people who don't know her), but it's done with, resolved, we're cool again & we're friends now. And just that. And only that. I mean, yes, I once had a crush on her, but I know I can't do anything now because she has a boyfriend. I know she enjoys my company nowadays. She's fun and receptive to talk to & she followed me back on Instagram when I requested to follow her. Knowing her right now, she'd most likely feel sad too if I told her I'm sad to see her go after tomorrow. I'm pretty sure tomorrow after class will be a lasting memory for us!

And if she says no to getting coffee with me, I'll be pretty sure it's honest with graduation, moving out, working, finals, etc., here at this time in her life - she seems to have a lot going on.

geeogree : Yeah, I agree. I just didn't wanna seem weirdly distant from her, so I didn't disappear off the face of the planet for her & am still her friend though. I didn't wanna act weird once I saw her first Instagram post with she and her boyfriend. I congradulated her & told her I saw the post, but on the inside, really, I felt mad when I saw that post. Never told her that, never will. I don't think anything good would come out of it if I did, since she has a boyfriend. Know what I mean?

Well, I already know that nothing more than a friendship can come out of this here, hence why I'm still trying to get over her, but even just the thought of "I'll never see her again" makes me sad

So I've had this crush on this girl for forever now, but I can't say anything to her about it because she has a boyfriend. She knows I identify as LGBT though, through bringing it up casually a few days ago, in conversation.

We're just friends, not best friends, but friends. She's always happy to see me and stuff and we've been talking after class for most of our semester.

She's graduating and going back to her home state for law school. Tomorrow is our last class. I don't see her exam day because I am a disabled student and therefore take exams in a separate location, rather than the classroom, at our school.

I know I'm not supposed to be crushing on her because she has a boyfriend and I am slowly getting over it, but I'm sad about this and I know I will miss her, even as a friend.

Tomorrow after class, I want to ask her when she is leaving, specifically and offer to take her out for coffee or something (as friends) before she leaves, but what if she says she can't? I mean, I'd understand if she can't because she's moving, graduation, finals, her job, etc., but just like, I don't know!

My parents brought the school she is going to up in conversation, as a suggestion for me to go to when I'm done with undergrad, but I don't know if I really want to go there right now and if it would be a good fit for me.

I mean, I plan on calling her once in a while, as friends, but it is not going to be the same!!!

Also, should I really tell my parents that I don't want to go to that school for the above reason & about my crush, just stay quiet when they mention it again, or?

Thanks guys - I was definitely thinking along the line of volunteering & I was chosen for a job this summer as a research assistant at a local community college!

So I'm interested in applying to the University of Oklahoma - Tulsa because my mother grew up down there, I liked it when she took me a few times & I wanna go back. I looked at the program I'm interested in applying to, but the problem is, it only accepts applications for Fall semesters & there's a VERY good chance I'm graduating undergrad late & that I will be a fall graduate.

I will apply when I need to but my question is, what can I do to fill time between the fall in which I graduate after and the fall in which I start at that school, provided that it accepts me and I decide to go?

What if I don't get a job? I don't want to sit around all day!!

& right now, I'm a lower junior in undergrad, but my counselor and I both agreed that there's a good chance I'll be graduating late at this point.

It has been about two weeks since I was interviewed to become a camp counselor at the YMCA for the summer. I believe the interview went pretty well. I DID send the hiring manager a thank you / follow-up email, fewer than 24 hours after my interview.

However, the hiring manager never called or emailed me back, regarding what the next steps would be, even though he said either way, if I was a good fit or not, I would get an answer. He did NOT specify a time frame, however, so I just used my two week rule.

I never had this happen to me before.


Should I send another email/call him again to ask about what's going on? If so, what should I say? Help?

I believe I will be graduating late because I'm a third year student who would be technically due to graduate in May 2017.

I fear that I will graduate late because my school REALLY emphasizes taking 15 credits (5 classes) a semester. Total needed to graduate is 120. Some semesters, I've only taken 4 classes, with no winter / summer classes because 4 classes a semester is still considered to be full time and I wanted to just relax and hang out with friends and go on vacation with family during the summer and winter. I thought just 4 classes a semester would be fine, but then I realized that that's not too good for the 120.

Also, I've had to retake calculus last semester because I failed it (but finally passed) and I dropped French 3 this semester because the course work was just too much for me, with that of the other classes I am taking now, so these delayed me.

Is this really bad, honestly? I didn't even take a full year or semester off like some people do....

Vanelan : Yes. She definitely said she will cancel it. When I called back with the tracking number, after I returned the item via USPS, the guy on the phone said its cancelled & the company will take it from here. I'm just a bit worried about the address not being correct....

So about two weeks ago, I ordered a free trial bottle of Pure Asian Garcinia (weight loss pills). I took them as directed and they didn't do anything for me. It is not to late for me to return the pill bottle and cancel the subscription, but the due date is in 2 days, before I am charged for my first ''real'' bottle. I called the company today to try to cancel my subscription and to ask if I can return my bottle.

The woman on the phone said yes and gave me a return address on the phone, but I couldn't totally understand what she was saying & I'm scared of getting the address wrong. I asked her to repeat a few times & still no go.

I heard something of an address and made SOME sense of it & KINDA made it out on Google & got AN address, but I'm not 100% sure if its the RIGHT address.

I don't want to be charged because I have to ship it twice (once for trying, twice if the first address was wrong). I don't want to be charged for my first ''real'' bottle.

Help? If you were me, you would....?

Tbh, I'm not sure if I will tell my professor but I will let you guys know how it goes - maybe she'll realize we're in college and just get the work done

Jordanv78 : I like your idea of getting someone else to talk to her for the groupwork. i didn't really think of that before. i don't think telling our professor about this is an option here because we're in college and I can easily see a professor saying that I'm gonna work with people I don't like in life & that is just how life is, as I was told in high school.
