I do see your point, however,

I do feel now that we have a smaller community, that the opportunities people can achieve are a lot stronger and more versatile. Not everyone could've obtained any accomplishment before, some posts were drowned out by others, making it impossible to reach. Don't you think that the more chances to voice your opinion really strives? Especially with the active elites.

Also, about the name calling you speak of, perhaps it is just me and I haven't been in the correct forums however of what I've seen, most of the posts have been generally polite and modest. Name calling just isn't a thing on here. 

I guess it is your opinion, but please think of my state of view as you write a reply.

i didn't say name calling, if you'd reread my post then it would say "not naming names" as in not pointing out people. people on here are snarky often, they respond to people in the most abrasive blunt ways sometimes. every voice being heard is fine and all, but when we only have the same couple of voices over and over, with the same few seeing it again and again, it doesn't really matter. it's like an inside joke between a small group of friends.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion and you're largely right, the site isn't what it used to be. The think about websites is that they change over time when there's a large shift in regulars. Older users move on, newer users move up and there's a new iteration of the site that comes with them. We're in a slump right now, but don't really think it's past the point of no return.

Since this thread is mostly just running the place down, it doesn't fall within the realm of constructive criticism. Try posting about what you think could be done to better the site. It's just better for morale.

Well, your opinion is your opinion. You have the freedom to judge, right?

And yes, I do have to agree with the point you made about people replying abrasively. That is quite true on a lot of these forums regardless. Which is quite upsetting. People have asked valid questions and have had their replies so anxiously slashed and tormenting by different people.
