Super Mario Odyssey is the craziest Mario game that has ever been thought of. I believe that the idea of Cappy being able to possess enemies is a cool idea, and being able to interact with regular humans is really weird, making me believe that it does not completely exist within the Mushroom Kingdom, unless this is part of it that we've never seen before.

I'm looking forward to this game so much, not only because I really enjoy core mario games, but because the worlds just look alive. It's really magical, and I'm glad Nintendo is getting back in the game.

I'm looking forward to this game as well. Although I don't have the Switch quite yet, this is the game that can really spike the buys in Christmas time, especially on my side. It's the game that can make Mario a little more interesting since it's not a cookie cut Mario game like "New" Super Mario bros or even Mario 3D World.

The sheer size and scale of Super Mario Odyssey is really impressive. I've seen some impressions on the internet compare it to Breath of the Wild in scale, but in a Mario game. One minor change to the 3D Mario formula that I like is that unlike the other 3D Marios, Odyssey will let you continue to roam around the map after you collect an important objective item (stars, shine sprites, and in this game, they're moons). I think that small change will hopefully mean there's less down-time than say, Super Mario Galaxy, where you'd have to sit and watch the "your game is now saving" screen after getting every star. It's the little things that count!

Also, listen to these soundtrack samples! Modern Mario soundtracks are the best:

I've been excited about this game for awhile now, but really got excited after seeing all the great gameplay footage from E3. All the stages/worlds look very cool and the overall game looks like it has some cool additions. The ability for Co-op with the other player using Cappy is going to be fun as well.

I already have mine pre-ordered and set for delivery on release day, so I'm super excited for the end of October. Should give me just enough time to start wanting to play something other than BoTW lol

I have no idea how this game is going to be or how people will react to it once it comes out. Some people speculate this will be the Super Mario Galaxy 3 everyone supposedly always wanted. This may be as good as the Zelda game everyone is talking about.
