So this was a surprise. We all thought we were going to get the remakes of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, but I expect that to be saved for the Switch, as we only get one set of remakes per console (which a Switch main series Pokémon game was announced too, so expect DP remakes late next year). Anyway, we finally have the names of the next main series Pokémon games, Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, with what looks like fusions of Necrozma with Solgaleo and Lunala. This leads me to believe that the cameo from Colress in Sun and Moon was not just thrown in for fan service, but for this story, as this is similar to Black and White 2's story line with Black Kyurem and White Kyurem, leading me to believe a new set of DNA Splicers. I hope to see this be the story, maybe even a Drayden return, as his family were the ones who held on to the DNA Splicers and had them passed down for years. Anyway, let me know what you guys think will be in this game, and whether or not Colress will actually be a part of the next games' story.

This post is going to get a ton of dislikes but I will say it anyway, unless these additions are more major than some new areas and changes to the storyline, this is a blatant money grab. I think most other developers would have released this as low price DLC at most, perhaps even making it free as the changes are overall pretty minor, not a standalone full price title that Pokemon fans are forced to buy if they want to stay in the loop. At least Black 2 and White 2 were sequels.  They do it anyway though because they know people will buy them regardless. Had this been any other major franchise people would have been quick to call them out, but they are so used to it with Pokemon that they don't question it. The greediness of Gamefreak and The Pokemon Company is apparent and that is what has been slowly driving me away from the franchise.

Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon were kinda expected in a way, because we had a sudden second legendary in Pokemon Sun/Moon which was Necrozma, and barely took part of the story (UB quest). So of course Nintendo would reveal much more information about Necrozma via something (movie, magazine, games..._), and this time they're going to release Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. They did the same thing with Black and White, releasing a sequel for them mainly for Kyurem. Even with Diamond and Pearl, back then we knew nothing about Giratina, so Nintendo released a third game for D/P which was Platinum. Thanks to it we knew more about the legendary. However Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon weren't expected during the Pokemon Direct tho.

I'm looking forward to the new games as always. It will be interesting to see Drayden and his family returning in the new games:  It will surely cause hype for Drayden fans! And maybe Colress's appearance in Sun and Moon wasn't just a simple one, haha... . Anything is possible! Guess we have to wait more for Diamond and Pearl remakes... SWITCH INCOOMING . I assume they'll be Generation VIII games, since GameFreak is already working on the next main Pokemon game for the Switch (the game will be released in a year or two). Just a bit more patience, guys.

Zlinqx : Yeah, I was kinda disappointed a bit in the beginning, but like I said above I did see it coming in a way... Let's just hope they won't be copies of the previous games. We'll see in the near future what it has to offer. They could be sequels (Nintendo has barely revealed anything about it). We just have to wait.

I never got Sun and Moon the first time around, so I'm glad I waited long enough for the supposedly better version to come out. I'll try picking it up sometime but I dunno if I'll be able to.
