I think destiny eventually makes up end up at important milestones in our lives but what happens in-between is controlled by free will. but as you become an adult the amount of free will increases to its maximum level during your lifetime. this means you have more control over what happens. When you become a senior it decreases because you are now more reliant on others for help. the point is destiny guides us to certain events but what happens in between is up to us
