Showering is quite blissful. The sound of graceful running water, the smell of your pleasant conditioner, the hot water down your back, and the relaxation aspect? What's not to like? When I was younger, (maybe 7 or 8), showering was a chore and hassle. I always had to share the shower with my brothers, and we always used cold water, which made me agitated and hardly able to breathe. If I didn't take a shower "correctly", I would make a fool of myself (or be forced into using deodorant, because I stink a lot). Nowadays, I think of showering as a menial task. I get in there for a little while, take a quick rinse, and bolt. Perhaps it's a bad habit.

Do you love showering? What's your favorite thing about it? How long do you shower everyday? Do you prefer showers or bubble baths? Thanks for elaborating.

I love to shower. Showering and bathing are my little oasis where everyone generally leaves me alone.

I was in the Marines for six years so any kind of water pressure that keeps me clean is highly appreciated. The ability to stay clean and hygienic just makes me extremely happy because I've lived where the only 'clean' you get is some baby wipes and maybe you get rained on. It's not pleasant.

Showering also lets me center my thoughts. I go totally Zen in a shower, with white-hot water pouring over me. My kids don't bother me in the shower, I can't answer work emails or texts or phone calls. My wife knows to leave me alone and she takes the kids and the dog. Or I'm at work and I just went for a run or I played pickleball and now I'm showering because I get back on shift. That five to ten minutes of being under the water is basically a big fat RESET button for me psychologically. I love the water, I love the heat, I'd like to have a hot tub to use at work, but the shower is my option.

Showering? Yes please. I do it maybe two times a day or more depending on what's happened. It's an escape.

Yep I do at most times. It is in a way hard to keep up since sometimes I would often forget to bath and that's not good. So I have to remind myself when I need to bath. Its a really nice feeling of when you have had your shower since it helps your body out in a way.

Yeah I do, it's relaxing in a way and similar to when I work out, acts as a reset for my brain. It's also just nice to feel clean. It usually takes a long amount of time for me though, because I have thick curly hair meaning I have to spend a lot of time washing it. Otherwise I'd likely be in and out of there in five minutes.

I love showering specially after a long day at work or been in my hot car without air conditioner -__-'
I usually take at least one super long shower in the week and it takes about 40 minutes - super scrub shower- I come out of there like a new person. I shower daily for about 25 minutes and not much of a bubble bath person unless I was ill and needed much needed relaxation. I like showers though, I just put on music and since I have a lot of daylight I keep the light off and dance and have ninja fights in there while playing Mortal Kombat's theme song. Good times.

I love showering. If it didn't jack up the water bill, I would stay in there for way longer than 5-10 minutes. Every once in a while, when I have an especially tiring day, I just stand in there for 15 or 20 minutes and it helps a lot. I sometimes even fall asleep in the shower, lol. A very underrated aspect of showers are the cold water. I have it on warm or hot water 99% of the time, but turning it all the way to the cold water is very refreshing and helps out a lot if your body is in pain or something. It sort of numbs out the pain and essentially has the same effect as using an ice pack. Showers are the best.

Of course I do, sometimes I do it 2 times a day. Mostly it's 1 time a day. Every once in a while I go a day or 2. Only time I ever went longer then that was when I was really sick, and didn't go anywhere, didn't see anyone, etc. I went like 4 days. It was awful lol.

Yes, I enjoy showering but I enjoy baths way more. Showering is what I do when I don't have much time and just need to get clean to get on with work. Baths, however… that's a time for relaxation and true enjoyment. Sometimes, soaking for a bit with something nice-smelling like essential oils (I love flower scents such as roses, lavender and some fruit scents as well) helps me to relax and unwind from the whirlwind that is everyday life. I also love baths because that's where I usually get my best ideas.

I enjoy it,I prefer being clean than dirty. Have you ever been shopping and you went around a person that just reeked? Not pleasant at all.

Showering always clears my head whenever I'm feeling sad or anxious. If I could shower more than once a day I'd probably be taking 3 or 4 showers a day. I love being clean but a lot of the time I really need to clear my head but unfortunately I only get one pass a day lol.

I don't like showering but I don't dislike it either. It's mainly one of those things I do at a daily basis and that's it. I just go in, get wet, bathe, and get out. It's as simple as that. Not the most interesting thing but also not a pain.

"Like" is a strange word to talk about something that's pretty essential if you have any kind of social life. I certainly prefer that to a bath since it's quicker.
But now that I think about it, I do enjoy a cold shower during the heat of summer. This cooling down helps me sleep and makes my skin less sticky

I love taking a shower, especially after a particularly stressful or hard day, as it helps me to relax. I have one every night before I go to bed, so I feel fresh and clean before crashing.

Showers are nice I guess.

They're just all nice and warm that I do enjoy taking one. But idk why, but I don't like taking a shower when I'm supposed to because they take away 20 minutes of my precious time that in the end I don't do anything useful with :v.

When I shower, it's in the evening, but not too soon before bedtime (or it'll suck).
I like to turn on the hot water (to open my pores), scrub with body wash, apply shampoo & conditioner, then rinse off with freezing water (to close the pores).

Showering cold may sound undesirable, but once you get through the initial freeze, it starts to feel great, and I've read it to have great health benefits. Plus, you feel like jumping right into bed afterwards!

Strangely enough, a cool shower in the middle of the day actually helps clear my head and focus on what I need to get done for the day. Warmer showers are good too though because hey can help relieve muscle tension and clear up sinuses. Ultimately it is a nice escape from the stresses of my day to day life. I feel the same way about the rain, if I had the opportunity to just stand/sit outside in the middle of a rainy day, I would. I don't care if looks strange, both the rain and showering put me in this edenic state. So yes, I do enjoy a daily shower.

I love showers, especially warm ones as where I live it is autumn. Being in a desert things can get really cold in cold parts of the year, so a hot shower is almost mandatory for me now

um
what
alright I guess

I mean, showers are a thing we do, and it doesn't go much farther than that.
I guess I'm neutral on the subject?? It just seems odd to specifically like showers.

I absolutely love to shower.

There's nothing like just completely zoning out with the border line scalding water raining down on my skin. I've actually fallen asleep standing up more than just a few times in the shower before lol. Another reason I'm a huge fan of showers is it used to be my escape from being dope sick way back when. The warmth kept my body from feeling so stiff and full of aches, kept me from having the chills, would keep my skin from feeling like it was being crawled on by bugs or something, and would rinse all the sweat off caused by the withdrawals.

Plus, who doesn't like being clean, ya know? My girl is a crazy person who still takes baths XD

I like showering, although I usually spend too much time under the shower. Normal people take a shower in, what, 5 to 10 minutes. I can go from 15 minutes to half an hour. This is due to two things:

1. Sometimes I resist a bit entering the shower, but once I'm in, I resist getting out of it. It's a complicated thing.

2. I wouldn't say I "take a bath", it looks more like this: I enter the shower, cover myself with soap, wash everything away, wash my hair, and then I just stand there, with my spine exactly below the water stream, feeling the hot water from my neck all the way down through my back. If I stay still like that for a minute or so, I start to zone out in a way I feel like I'm being "detached" from my physical body (maybe this is due to the water hitting my neck constantly, it starts to feel like a massage), and I literally look like I'm a mix of "drunk and sleepy" at the same time, going back and forth, thinking about literally nothing, I'm completely "out there". Feels so good I even shiver a bit sometimes.
