Wow, David surely is late today. I bet he's busy with his new History of Vizzed project, which only makes me more excited to see what he comes up with.

As I suspected, zander scored heavily yesterday and has opened quite a gap. Reducing the gap will be tough, even more if he scores like yesterday again, which geeo seems decided to not let happen

Both 18mlivingston and janus aren't scoring regularly, so passing them shall be my next step. After that, I can probably catch zander's slip stream and pass austipokedude, who doesn't seem to be scoring regularly either. The rest are just so far away and scoring regularly, so that's my limit.

The only other top 10 not scoring regularly is Barathemos, but he's +60 points in front. I'd need to average like 4 points everyday from today on, and since I'll be away a couple days it just keeps getting more difficult. Either way, I should end 7th or 6th, depending on zander's activity, I highly doubt I'll pass Bara for 5th, though it would be incredible.

Still, I managed 11 points on the day and bumped up my lead over Gamer.

And, I went a bit crazy today. The double dragon games were calling to me so I reviewed 4 of them. I might do the 5th one tonight if I have time so I have them all out of the way. I don't really want to bother doing the ones on different systems since they are basically the same games ported to the console.

Hey, I posted a 1000 word review a couple hours before that as well, not my fault I couldn't finish both of them a bit earlier, though that 2nd one was in fact supposed to be much longer but I feared that I wouldn't have had enough time to finish it the way that I wanted it to be.

I'm surprised it took me this long to get ANY points for either Red or Green, but at least I was able to go for a small boost, but I probably might only be able to do that much in a day 2 or 3 more times this month.

Well, today was pretty crappy. I failed to prevent geeo from getting the 7 point bonus in red, and Yuna went on a  CP action spree I just couldn't keep up with...

geeogree gets two 7 pointers!

It was only 2 7 pointers I think. 7 from yellow, 5 from blue, 7 from red and 3 from green makes 22 points. I was at 143 yeseterday and am at 165 now. I needed 1 more post to be more than 50% higher than zanderlex.

Still, that was a big day for me. I made 5 Double Dragon reviews in 1 day which was loads of fun to do. I doubt I'll ever do 5 ever again though.

geeogree : Ok you're right, I was thinking that it had to be 50% or higher. After looking at the numbers, you earned 22 points yesterday which confirms it was two 7 pointers.

yeah, I was hopefuly when I saw the results this morning that I had gotten 3 but after doing the math on it I realized I missed out on one. I fully expect that that was no accident on zanders part to keep me from increasing my lead any more than I did. He's still close enough that he could pass me for the Blue jersey if he tried.

What the hell happened in Yellow yesterday? I knew I was going to get points, but to finish second... And having the three other top 5 under a thousand words... Deadest day so far in that jersey and hardly beatable. Let's hope the new ways of obtaining the PSX item brings up a bit more activity into this jersey.

Either way, good to see I scored the 4 points I need to average so I can pass Bara. I should step up my posting a bit so I can score a couple points in Blue as well when not working towards Red, because betting it all to a second position in Yellow is quite risky.

Zander scored the same points as me yesterday, so I'm right at his slipstream. I'll need a bit more than that to pass him and claim 5th, but time will say.

Oh, and I have chances of finishing runner-up for yellow, behind the unbeatable rainbow-suited green slime. Not something that is reflected in the Hall of Fame, but would still be a nice result for me even if everyone else forgets about it.

EX Palen : I got 3rd place and I didn't even break 1000 words lol. Yeah very dead. I didn't even think of the PS1 item potentially unintentionally giving us some extra competition lol.

EX Palen : yeah, with words under 1,000 and posts under 20 still getting 2nd or 3rd place finishes for yellow and blue it should be easy as pie for someone to pick up 6-8 points per day by posting 15-20 times. That is not hard to do at all. I'm honestly surprised more people aren't taking advantage of the slow month in order to finish higher than they are. I realize the win is pretty well in the bag now but I see no reason why people can't try for a top 10 or top 5 finish.

geeogree : You know, by your unstoppable rate, you'll end up breaking my TdV record of most points in a single TdV by the looks of it.

But hey, there's a saying, "records are meant to be broken".

IgorBird122 : April probably isn't the best month to go for a TdV record like that though since it has 1 less day than the rest of the TdV months. That 1 day may not seem like it'd make a big difference but when that record is often broke by only a few points, having that extra day to earn those extra points definitely helps.

Davideo7 : True, April is the only TdV month that has only 30 days while the other 3 months (January, July, and October) has 31 days. Which also could technically means that someone can actually get 2 white banners, because a user can join on January 31st and goes all out that day to win a white banner for that month and compete in the following TdV in April and wins the White Banner again that month, although the chance of that happening is extremely low.

IgorBird122 : Actually someone could join midway through a TdV and earn enough points to win it and then compete and win in the next TdV. They wouldn't have to be around for the entire TdV to win it.

Davideo7 : They would have to be around to win it the 2nd time actually, remember what happened last TDV where we had like 3 people losing white in the middle of the month because their 90 days expired?

Also, I managed a 14 point day (I think) and I was gone from 2 until just now.... if you can leave for half the day and still get 14 points there is something wrong
