Bintsy :   I am very sorry to hear about your loss Bintsy about 3 years during christmas 2 of my uncles from my dad,s side passed away one weak apart from each other  I pray that you and your family will be able to make it through this terrible loss. as my grandmother once said to me sometimes you have to take the good with the bad and make the best of it

I am so sorry for your loss. I hope that you feel better. I feel the same way about my family. I lost all of my grandparents from both of my parents sides and most of them passed away before I was born. I'm so sad I never got to meet them. I still think about it today.  If you ever need someone to talk to or any help just let me know. 

Sorry to hear about your loss. It is always horrible to end the year on a sour note like that. At least she has gone off to a better place.

I feel for you. Losing ANYONE you love is a terrible feeling, "unless" they were suffering.

My first grandmother died of a generalized cancer; a week before her death she could barely act because her lungs were full of fluid. At least she died peacefully. As for my other grandmother I saw her about 2-3 months before she died. Her Alzheimer's was so advanced that she literally looked like a zombie. I remember telling my uncle at the funeral, "She looks better dead" and he wholeheartedly agree.

But however she died, be strong and keeping a souvenir of her will always make her alive in some way. My sister once posted a picture with her son and our mom. I posted as a comment, "Too bad there are only three generations." Of course, since you seem to religious I am sure you can find some comfort thinking she is "in a better place" where you will join her one day.

As someone who only has one grandparent left, I can definitely relate with you. When my grandfather on my dad's side died a few years ago, it was rough.

It's OK, Bintsy. Everyone probably has someone that they had that they lost. We'll be here for you, especially because I know how you feel. My dad's father passed away when I was 6. His smile on his face when he saw me right before he died is still in my mind like he just died. If you need to talk I'll be here for you.

It's always hard to lose someone. Sadly, I've lost a lot of close friends and family members over the years....it never gets easier to say goodbye. Heck, I just lost a close friend of mine last weekend to a car accident.
