I am so sorry for your loss. I hope that you feel better. I feel the same way about my family. I lost all of my grandparents from both of my parents sides and most of them passed away before I was born. I'm so sad I never got to meet them. I still think about it today.  If you ever need someone to talk to or any help just let me know.

I feel for you. Losing ANYONE you love is a terrible feeling, "unless" they were suffering.

My first grandmother died of a generalized cancer; a week before her death she could barely act because her lungs were full of fluid. At least she died peacefully. As for my other grandmother I saw her about 2-3 months before she died. Her Alzheimer's was so advanced that she literally looked like a zombie. I remember telling my uncle at the funeral, "She looks better dead" and he wholeheartedly agree.

But however she died, be strong and keeping a souvenir of her will always make her alive in some way. My sister once posted a picture with her son and our mom. I posted as a comment, "Too bad there are only three generations." Of course, since you seem to religious I am sure you can find some comfort thinking she is "in a better place" where you will join her one day.

It's OK, Bintsy. Everyone probably has someone that they had that they lost. We'll be here for you, especially because I know how you feel. My dad's father passed away when I was 6. His smile on his face when he saw me right before he died is still in my mind like he just died. If you need to talk I'll be here for you.
