Thanks to a couple of connections that I have, I'm going to be at Jimmy Kimmel Live next week! I've never actually seen an episode, ever, because of how late the show airs, but I have been a fan and have been watching clips online ever since the show first began more than a decade ago.

This is going to be the 4th time that ill be at a show like this and I'm really really excited. The other shows I have been to include Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Late Night with Seth Meyers, and The Daily Show With John Stewart (when I met Obama.)

I actually had a ticket to go to The Nightly Show Monday but didn't think I could make it on time.

I think Kimmel is one of the best active Late Night hosts alongside Jimmy Fallon and I'm really hoping to have a great time.

I am sure you will! I never attended such a show, but I am sure that what we see on TV is not even half of what YOU will see in studio. Lucky you

janus : Yep, I hope its really cool, I know that Kimmel is a big deal, a lot bigger than most of the late night shoes, Even Late Nught, so I hope the experience is amazing.

You're going to be attending Jimmy Kimmel show? Wow, I never meant anybody who actually went to his show before. I would like to hear how it was like actually being there and all.

Final Weapon : I'll be sure to talk about what its like, this is the only time I will ever be able to go to the show because the show is usually 3000 miles away which means I can never go back again, even if I really want to.

I can't wait to hear who the guests are for the one that I will be at.

gamerforlifeforever2 : I doubt it can't be any worse than the others, its a really good show, and the only show I can think of that could be even better would be the Tonight Show. Also, I found out that I will be going on Friday.

That's pretty cool. Jimmy's all right. Most people don't remember that he pretty much got started on a game show called "Win Ben Stein's Money". He was funny on there and it was a good show. And of course, who can ever forget "The Man Show" with him and Adam Corolla. Bikini babes on trampolines all day long.

Right now I'm a bit disapointed at the list of what guests are going to be on the show. I'm going on Friday and the only guest who will be there is Howard Stern.

Yeah, still a great person to see, but Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday combined feature Jay Z, Donald Trump, Michael J Fox, Bradley Cooper. and Tracey Morgan.

I finally got some more info on when it is and where I have to go.

The show will be taping tomorrow from 5 PM until 7 PM. Since I will be going there as a priority person though, I need to be there between 2 and 3 PM. I'm going to keep all of you updates on how awesome it is, though I doubt I will be able to say anything until after the show actually airs on tv.

That's awesome. I love that show. 

Will like to hear what that was like. Never been to a show or met a celebrity- yet! Although I live minutes away from John Travolta and we shop at the same mall -darn it.

Yes, he lives in a complex called Jumbolair in Anthony and I live in Ocala. Very exclusive and huge. He has his own private airstrip. I actually went as close as the gate but, you can only see the many security buildings in every corner of the enormous complex. It's huge in there and very hard to get into. 

He is very modest. Our mall is very small and yet he likes it and every time he has a new movie out we get world premiers with red carpet. So, I have seeing him but, not actually met him but, you can just walk up to him and shake his hand and talk to him at the mall. He is very social. My friends have but, I never run into him in this 10 years here lol. 

He donates a lot of money to local Boys and Girls clubs and opened a Scientology church downtown, I drive by it daily. He is really nice and our hospital here is mostly donations from him and some rooms named and themed after him and his late son.

But, you don't really get to see him much with his schedule only during world premieres or exclusive dinners he puts together which the tickets for that are ridiculously expensive lol. He helps this town a lot in every aspect. 

I like that about many celebrities. 

jlove92 : Wow, I never heard of someone really doing that Usually theres a limo and like 20 bodygaurds when someone famous goes somewhere and you aren't allowed to even look at them. He sounds like a great guy. Who knows, maybe we will get a chance to talk to Jimmy.

That's awesome that you got to go to his show! I was excited to see them have Christopher Lloyd and Michael J Fox on the show last night for "Back to the Future Day" Was pretty cool. Even Huey Lewis snuck in a guest appearance. Was a great clip anyways.

Jordanv78 : I didn't even know that they had Lloyd along with Fox since he wasn't on the list so hopefully they will have a few more people tomorrow than what was on the list.

I would rather been in the studio audience when he and Adam Corolla did "The Man Show".  But,hey good for you.

OMG. I'm still outside the building since check in starts in a few minutes and I looked online to find out that the New York Mets are going to be there, and not just random players but some of the best players on the team!!

Fun Fact. The Mets are in the world series but because they won the NLCS in 4 games, they get 5 days off, so on my way here, I was literally fantasizing how awesome it would be if someone from the team was on the show since its the last day of the show being here.

The show was unbelievable!!!!!!!!

The show is like 30 to 60 minutes long but the taping was about 2 hours and for about 30 minutes before the taping we had a blast with the warm up guy.

The 1st guest was Howard Stern and I couldn't hold in my laughter, the 1st scene with him was golden, just so funny. After him, the best players in the New York Mets came out and I cried. Wright, Harvey, Degrom, and Flores all came out and the interview with them was amazing! After that there was a 10 minute break where they shot the previews for the episode, and then another 10 minutes because they forgot to shoot something that they were supposed to shoot before the Meta and got all confused.

Then they took 10 minutes to ser up for Public Enemy and then we had to wait another 10 minutes for Kimmel to get ready and then Public Enemy performed and then we went home.

I also bought a shirt and a bag since these are pretty rare.
