Right now I am reading The Dragonfly Effect by Gordon Korman, it's the 3rd book in the Hypnotists series, which is about people who can well, hypnotize people. It's a really really fun series for everybody. Easy to get into and a lot of comedy and action as well.

I love reading Shadow of the dragon by Sherry Garland. That book is like my crack. I also read Manga. My favorite (and the one I'm currently reading) is Hunter x Hunter. I have to ask.... How much do you enjoy reading?

Chart : If you are always reading the Harry Potter series, then I suspect you are going to get the new book that's coming out this month? I am 100 percent stoked for the new installment and knowing that it's officially the 8th story is so exciting. It's been almost 10 years since the end of the series, so I would like to think that the hype for this book is a lot bigger than everyone is making it seem.

I already pre ordered the book on Amazon for less than $20 so hopefully I should be able to get it the day that it comes out on the 31st of this month.

I'm slowly investing time into Call of Cthulhu by H.P. Lovecraft, I finished Dagon a while back and it was good so I thought I'd read more. It's decent.

I'm currently reading The Eyes of Heisenberg, by Frank Herbert (Author of the Dune series). It can get a little boring at times, but his dialogue is always fascinating.

Then after that I'm either going to read The Tales of Beedle the Bard, by J. K. Rowling (Author of the Harry Potter books), or Wizard's First Rule, by Terry Goodkind (Author of the Sword of Truth series, which were the books the T. V. show, The Legend of the Seeker was based off of). And a tons of other books that I've bought but haven't gotten around to reading. XD

F.Starr: Lol, I know you all too well, you'd probably read anything :p

I'm still trying to get me a copy of the trilogy by Rowling. I was never interested in those books until I saw the trailers for the upcoming movie and bow I really want to read all of them. Lol, it's a shame that books are all so expensive these days.

Just finished R. A. Heinlein's "Starship Troopers". The idea of public flogging as punishment instead of prisons has never sounded this good to me. Still, the book takes war a bit too optimistically.
Top tier book nevertheless.
Right now I'm getting into Fyodor Dostoyevsky's "The Brothers Karamazov". I've heard it's a book that changes lives.

I'm reading "Cracking the New SAT" since my parents want me to start preparing for it and it's coming up pretty soon. It's not as bad as it sounds, really.

I am reading "A Feast for Crows", from George R. R. Martin. It is the fourth book of the well appreciated "A Song of Ice and Fire" series (also known as Game of Throne, for those who solely watch the show). I did not read them in the past, so I do not know what will really happen in those books (I can only guess based on what I saw in the TV show).

Pretty good. Lengthy, for sure. Lots of details. Also, one particular scene that made me laugh about the classic heroic type of knight (whom, as you can guess, gets killed squarely (can't say "fair")).

First book is daunting with details, but once you get past that, it becomes pretty rewarding for all the plots that come together.

I just finished Steven Baxter's Flood, the first of a two part (so far?) series where the earth turns into an ocean planet over the course of thirty years.

It's awesome stuff because the science is mildly believable and the more important part is the way people react and how they start living their lives and the adjustments they make to survive. I enjoy post apocalypse fiction and this is a nice break from zombies roaming and people doing human interest stuff.

The slowly rising seas force people up the sides of mountains and to higher points in the world, and countries dissolve, people fight wars over land, and other societies turn into the Water World movie with Kevin Costner.

I finally picked up Harry Potter and the Cursed Child over the weekend and I just started reading it last night for a bit. It's not bad but it feels so weird to be continuing the story.

Right now, I'm reading a book called The Little Book of Pandemics: 50 of the World's Most Virulent Plagues and Infectious Diseases by Dr. Peter Moore. I picked up the book just for fun and because it really is a tiny little book that's only about 145 pages or so. rofl I've always been interested in learning about viruses, diseases and plagues, so I'll pick up pretty much any book that discusses these topics even if I've read about these topics before. So far, it looks like this book just gives a quick rundown of some of those pandemics, so I should be done with the book soon. The material (and thus the book) is okay I guess, since I like reading about these topics.
