If you make points in the TdV, you will automatically qualify for recognition in this thread, no extra sign up necessary.

I am your host for this Team Competition and we'll have lots of fun!

This year's theme is Staff Vs. Non Staff .

This theme should be pretty self explanitory, if you are part of the staff, you will be on one team, and if you aren't on the staff you will be on the other team.

What counts as staff?
If your rank is Site Staff, Local Moderator, Global Moderator, Administrator, or Owner, than you are on team Staff. 

What is Non Staff? 
This includes Newbie, Member, Trusted Member, and Elite member.

There are prizes! 
You will receive the following at the end of the month if you qualify: 

10,000 Viz
If your team wins and you make the top 3 overall in the Tour De Vizzed
5,000 Viz
If your team wins and you make the top 5 overall in the Tour De Vizzed
or
If your team gets 2nd and you make the top 3 overall in the Tour De Vizzed
2,500 Viz
If your team wins and you make the top 10 overall in the Tour De Vizzed
or
If your team gets 2nd and you make the top 5 overall in the Tour De Vizzed
or
If your team gets 3rd and you make the top 3 overall in the Tour De Vizzed

Don’t forget to let Davideo7 know if you qualify for one of the prizes once the competition ends!

This is going to be quite an interesting Team Competition. Out of all the active users on the site, the staff are definitely outnumbered but right now it looks like the staff are leading the day.

It's pretty rare that we have a TdV Team Competition with only 2 teams. It's definitely going to be a fun rivalry.

Let's go Team Staff!!! We can probably break the record for most points by a team in an entire competition since there's so few teams.

Even though we don't have the numbers, I definitely feel like the combined strength of us Staff members will be enough for Team Staff to win the team competition. I'll try to help team staff as well as I can.

Well team Staff will definitely have an advantage on the Red and Green, but I think if the non-Staff keep it together, we can actively challenge the Staff and secure the other jerseys.

zanderlex : That's true, I never thought of that.

Boxia : You guys will definitely be earning a majority of your points in the Yellow and Blue Jersey. Most of the staff don't post very much.

Davideo7 : I'm not too sure what the record for most team points was, but I'm pretty sure that you, me, and Ferdinand alone can break the record.

So we decided to actually go through with it and do staff vs non staff huh? I'd say it is a fairly even match-up in some aspects, since there are naturally more non-staff members, I think they might have an edge in the blue jersey category since the staff don't post nearly as often as regular/trusted members. However, we do have quite a few active staff members including barathemos and zanderlex and many others, so it will definitely play out rather interestingly in that respect. 

As staff though, we do earn a greater amount of CP which will definitely contribute to the red and green jersey categories. As gamer said, I think with our combined strength, we stand a good chance of winning. We should definitely give it our all despite the odds. I'll do my best to provide any points wherever I can. Let's go team staff!

Alright staff let's do this! We have a clear advantage when it comes to the CP jerseys so I think we can easily win this! Even without that advantage we should still be able to win. Go team staff!

There probably won't be any DQ's for the day, so its looking good for staff so far. 

It really looking good, plus most of the users to place for red and green happen to be the new staff members as well so its great to see them putting so much in. Hopefully we can put up a big enough lead to start the month off.

I love how many people I know that competed in this year's Spring TdV are now staff, including myself

I also love the idea for this team competition, and like Davideo7 said it should be really interesting with only 2 teams.

Let's go staff members! People already know we have an advantage with CP, but we should show the non-staff members that we're capable of being challengers for the yellow and blue jerseys as well.

zanderlex : I agree. I'm excited to see how many points both teams can come up with since there's only 2 teams. Even if we don't break the record (which I'm confident we can) I know both teams will score a ton of points this month.

PacmanandMariofan : I wouldn't really be surprised if one of the teams can score at least a thousand points. Just think of it, without the 7 pointer, there's a total of 1860 points to be split between the two teams.

zanderlex : I think that is more a certainty than a possibility, I mean with staff pretty much having 930 of the points in the bag.. (unless a non staff member really goes full out for the rainbow jersey) I can't see non-staff winning this at all

I mean look at this thread in particular.. Myself and Boxia are the only non staff members that have even posted here. Though granted this thread has 14 (shortly 15) replies and more than a quarter belong to zanderlex. 

Barathemos : Luckily for you this team competition won't be difficult to do the math for.. I remember the one I did that had a lot more teams

sonicmcmuffin : It's all really thanks to the recent hiring though, had the hiring never happened or hapened later on, then it would have been way more non staff heavy. Plus not all staff actions actually count towards some of the jerseys. My job for example gave me more than 200 CP yesterday that didn't count

zanderlex : Well of course, I know about staff point action limitations.. But regardless a non-staff user would have to do a lot more to earn that 200CP

Also site staff have a larger allowance on the amount actions they can do.. 

sonicmcmuffin : Ugh, that allowance really screwed me over in April. Ruined all of my plans during that week that I was a trusted member. I see your point.

Epic battle! Us, Non-Staff, will have an advantage on the Blue and Yellow Jersey. Staff team, you can keep Red and Green. I hope we'll have an amazing competition, together. Best of luck to all!
