I thought I'd write a post about this special occasion simply because it was literally my own personal Disney-esque film....

Long story short, Our first team made it to nationals... I'd guested a few tournaments with the seconds as I moved to another club for a short period of time due to my friend wanting to move clubs... So essentially I wanted to be their to offer my support... Somehow I ended up playing for them due to several reasons, Such as other players being on holiday, others having broken arms and some just having more important things to do as well.

In the group stage we won all 3 of our matches with only one team being a challenge as we won 6-4, 10-0. And I believe 10-0 again... So we progressed to the quarters against the reigning champions, It ended 4-4 with one game to play and I somehow managed to catch one of the best players in England.. Thanks to that we took control of the game and ended up beating them 6-4,

We then progressed to the semi finals where we faced the team that won the Dodgeball Premier league... (Essentially the best 10 teams in the UK play a league format where you play each other twice) and well we somehow beat them 8-0, basically we won every game we played against them, Which no other team had done this year.

In the final we played a team that had a rather lucky draw, and due to that were a lot fresher going into the final.. We lost 8-4 with a lot of referee decisions not going our way and being overruled.. Which in dodgeball is a pretty huge thing... a single decision can literally decide the outcome of a game.... Plus due to the enormous effort it took to defeat our previous 2 opponents.. Our team just suffered from cramp and exhaustion...

Considering we didn't even have our full strength team there.. And no one expected us to make it past the quarters.. I'm extremely proud...

I mean why else would I write something like this... If you have any questions about anything dodgeball related let me know!

How does the scoring work? You were throwing numbers and scores around, and it was confusing the crap out of me.
